It's ran by a friendly owner, it has good food and no frills atmosphere. It takes him a little to get the food ready since it's just him, but it's worth the wait.
That potato salad is crack and you will want more. The bbq is worthy, and the people who run it are awesome.I usually get the tri tip and ribs and double potato salad, and one piece of white toast.I also get thai food next door, and the green curry and shrimp pad see ew make an amazing dinner for 2.
Food had good flavor, peppers and onions mixed in with the meat was a nice flavor enhancement.We did believe that the sandwiches were a bit small for the price.

This is honestly the best bbq place I’ve ever had! I got the tri-tip plate with greens beans and Mac n cheese. I was not disappointed. The green beans alone were so flavorful. The tri tip was tender and the Mac n cheese tasted just like my mom’s!? I have to get a tri-tip sandwich and at least to orders of green beans the next time I go back. The staff were super friendly and inviting! A must try if you ever visit Hayward!
