I hardly ever leave reviews but I stopped by here today for my second time and I have to say this will be my go to when I'm passing through hayward. I absolutely love their bento boxes I normally don't ever get beef teriyaki but this place did not disappoint. The portion sizes are really big compared to most places I've gone to plus you can't beat the prices super reasonable. The fish was super fresh especially the tuna. Even my toddler loved it. Thank you again for serving us we will be back again.

Taste is pretty good, one of my typical go to spots for sushi and katsu chicken. This was the first place I introduced sushi to my mom and she loves it when we go together. My only small comment in my most recent to-go order (yesterday) is that of the 4 rolls we ordered, 3 of them begun to fall apart immediately and the rice was a bit scattered and not covering the seaweed completely.

Good taste but perhaps more training is required to build the sushi rolls a little better. Still enjoyed my fall apart sushi though! 😁 Haha

This Kansai spot is pretty compact, with just enough space to get by. The downside? On a cold night, every time the door opens, cold air blasts right in. The place also has a bit of a cold vibe, with exposed concrete walls and dim lighting adding to that chill, almost industrial feel. It’s not uncomfortable, but it definitely leans on the colder side. On the plus side, it doesn’t have that overpowering fishy smell you get in some seafood places, which is a solid win. The service is decent, and the servers stay on top of things. When I went, there was only one other table occupied, yet it still took a bit longer than expected for the food to hit the table. We ordered the 49er roll, Philadelphia roll, Oakland roll, Lion King roll, and the In & Out roll. Everything came out as expected, with fresh fish that had zero fishy smell. The 49er roll in particular was amazing and definitely the standout of the meal.

Rude servers and incredible slow, we waited half an hour to put our order in while they were giggling in the corners chatting with each other.

Good food. Service is fine. The place is kinda small and a group of 5 gets seated next to the restrooms.

We have been to the Oakland restaurant many times and love the food, service and interior. So, when we heard of this location, we just had to come in. The overall building and interior is extremely different from the other store, as this one is super small with tight seating (maybe 8-10 tables?) and it's clear the food pickup and delivery is the biggest draw here. And, here is why.... The food is awesome! In fact, I want to say it is better here than the other location. We came in for Bento dinners, and were very impressed. You get a ton of food, and that food is really tasty. If it were not for the super tight seating (ok, just pretend you are in a crowded Asian hotspot) I would have given 5 stars, but for atmosphere, I have to ding one star.

10/10!!! We were seated right away and the young food server was delightful and accurate with our order. Food tasted clean and fresh! Can’t say enough great things about the small gem hidden on B St. in Hayward! Definitely check it out for lunch you won’t be disappointed!

We've been here a few times now, enjoying the bento combo each time. We're pescetarian and love places with plenty of veggie & fish options! Small place inside, but they manage a huge amount of online & pick up orders! Great staff, great food, generous portions! One issue, on our last visit, the same song played the ENTIRE TIME we were in the restaurant. I'm diabetic, so don't like to order only sushi rolls, but one of these days I'm going to try some of their huge selection of specialty rolls!! Tight seating, but there is parking throughout the downtown area if you don't mind walking a block or two!
