My friends and I love this place! It’s a really chill gaming cafe with board *and* PC games. For the former, it’s $5 per person and for the latter, $5 an hour (or you can get a day pass for $20). There’s free WiFi too! The owners were very nice and courteous about our stay, adjusting the lights and offering us refreshments. Please pay due diligence to their board game organization as well; it makes it better for all visitors.

If you’re in town with a group or by yourself, check this business out! I’m happy to support this place and will definitely come back for many more game nights down the line.

Friendly atmosphere, cute cat and lots of space to play games with friends. Would highly recommend for both social and ant-social people.

Kin Games gave me and my partner a lovely experience! We came in looking for some board games to play and we were met with very kind service, a large selection of games, and it was at a very very good price! I would definitly come back and recommend to others :)

kin/games is awesome! The owners were so kind and friendly, the food was tasty, and there was a selection of 75+ games or so. Great for a low key night with friends or family. We paid $5/person to play board games and there was no minimum spend for food/drinks. I appreciate them color coding the games from green (easy) to red (more difficult). Street parking or lot parking nearby. This is the kind of business I want in my community!

this is a review for the event space. we rented this spot for a baby shower. the service was top notch and the owners were great to work with, a small local family owned spot. the space accommodated 50 party guests of all ages and even kept our young nephews entertained (they played fortnite together and were not bored during the baby shower). food was made fresh by the mother of the family, she churned out an impressive and delicious 10 dishes within an hour. my party guests were very happy with the venue and the service, and i felt like it was a very kind and welcoming place, and the vintage items add character and warmth to the space to make it feel like home. communication was clear and the pricing was fair. definitely consider hosting your private events here with friends and family. close to bart and freeways as well as large municipal parking lots.

We just hosted my brother and sister-in-law‘s baby shower here, and it was such a success! The Kin Games establishment is a family owned business, and not only were they accommodating and easy to work with, but their prices were very competitive and they were just the kindest people.

The venue itself was enormous and was able to host our 50+ people, with tons of additional room if we needed it for more guests, who were comfortably seated in the café area. From a gaming cafe, astonishingly, the food was also quite tasty - I would highly recommend the chicken curry over rice dish. Also, most of the tapas and appetizers like the potstickers, tapas, and scallion pancake were also a hit. The games were also entertaining enough for our young guests, even one of my nephews enjoyed the virtual reality station in the back.

Ambiance-wise, the venue is a bit eclectic but all of our photos turned out amazing. The lighting in there is superb day or night, cathedral ceilings were a wow factor, and the large windows brought in natural light.

Cynthia, the manager was very communicative during the whole entire process, and they made everything seamless, straightforward and easy. The owner, Cynthia‘s father, even helped us out during the set up of our party. Cynthia‘s mom, the chef, also went the extra mile and gave some of the children there a few flower crowns as a parting gift. This family is beyond generous, kind, and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this establishment for parties or gaming needs.

Nice selection of board games. Owners were really kind and set up a space heater/provided free tea since it was a chilly day. Lots of space and there are bathrooms available. For $5 per person, you can play unlimited board games until closing - super good deal and a great activity for groups.

Lovely place run by a really nice elderly couple! The board games were all in good condition and the price was super cheap.

**This review is only regarding the board game section**

Established in 2014, Cy and his wife kept the most hidden game spot afloat through the pandemic. They have board games $5/day, internet cafe $5/hour, food, tea sets, and antiques!! I was completely shocked to first see antiques and then their game section.

Library 3/5 Not many games, but Cy mentioned people bring their own games anyway. They had Root, Wingspan, Sleeping Gods, and Gloomhaven. Maybe if people donated their games here, they would have a fuller library.

Price 5/5 Despite the small library selection, I would say the price is reasonable. You're mostly paying for the table.

Enviornment 5/5 A historically, antique-style decor that made my heart melt. Beyond aesthetics, this place has plenty of tables and space to play games. It felt like the entire space could be rented out for events.

Overall 4/5 I will need to come back and actually play games here. This is a preliminary review hoping that this place gets more boardgame attention. Not sponsored, just happy to have a boardgame spot close by!

Nice big building and was really quiet when I went; not really busy. Had 240 frames and lots of parking nearby. Gave water with play time; $5 an hr and the owners gave a bonus half hour. Definitely recommend checking it out at least once and had lots of board games. Snacks were cheap

kin/games is a spacious gaming cafe with plenty of big tables. My board game group met there. The food was fantastic. I was very impressed with the Spanish omelet and the coffee. They have a well-curated board game collection. And our food was delivered by a robot! ?? The staff were very kind. I really like this place.

Very nice area, to play games on a PC I will come back again for sure! One thing that stood out to me is how I was able to play on it for only 15 bucks the entire day which may seem a lot but if your someone who wants to play games occasionally without the spending of electric bills and parts to make a high end PC this is the right place for you.Game selection is good enough to keep you entertain for a long time. Also me and my partner ordered a snack and it was really good.Again I highly recommend those who just want to spend the day gaming on the PC or even play board games with friends!
