The employees were at least hospitable, but I have NO IDEA what was up the manager's posterior. They had very disgraceful communication skills, all to inform me about the restroom. Really? Who the hell trained YOU in customer service? Hopefully, a new manager is hired soon to replace the utterly contemptible one.

While Los Pericos has closed this location, El Gordo took over. The meat was lackluster and overly salted, got a huge piece of fat my first bite. Rice was ok, but tasted like the bottom of the pot burnt, but they were served anyway. I wish Los Pericos was there, I will not be back.

Unfortunately, they have closed down for good. I seen the building today when shopping for food at Lucky and it looks like new owners are taking over that building. That being said, while they had good food the prices tended to be a little high, compared to other places we visited which had better portions given for the price paid. Hopefully what's going in now in this building can revitalize the downtown Hayward area for Mexican food offerings at a decent price per item.

Worst service and food ever!! Stay away! This place trying to sell me the free salsa for $1. I asked him where that price was on the menu and he just made up a price. The tacos taste bland and gave me a stomach ache. I thought I seen a roach near the salsa bar. The guy behind the counter was very rude and didn't want to help after I ordered the first time. Being Hispanic saddens me. Never coming here again and I do not recommend this place to anyone.
