Got the sweet potato cupcake from JJ's fish and chicken on International... So good, moist and tasty!

Really good red velvet cakes, I've bought here around 4 times for the red velvet, and a couple of times for the other stuff they have (caramel, carrot, etc.) it's not a super fancy cake store with designs and what not, but when it comes to taste and shelf life, I recommend them.

Very nice people but the cakes and pies are horrible now. The red velvet and German chocolate cakes were hard and frosting almost chewy. This takeover has ruined the quality and reputation of what was once a must have and go to. Very sad. Also, the sweet potato pie was so soupy, not solid in any way. You would have needed a spoon and bib.

Bought peach cobbler from JJ’s Fish and Chicken it was not good at all. The dough was not done and it didn’t have a taste.

This place is absolutely the best. I usually get their cakes from JJ’s but I discovered this place in San Lorenzo, Where they make everything fresh, their cakes are delicious. They have so many the red velvet is literally to die for so moist icing is heavenly. I recommend 10 out of 10.

Sweet potato pie is GOOOD. Best spice I've tasted in a sweet potato pie. Strong cinnamon and nutmeg taste that runs smooth with the natural sweet potato taste. If you're not sure if you'd like it there are smaller personal pies they sell near the cashier. Overall amazing taste.

DO NOT GET PEACH COBBLER!
Tried the peach cobbler from the jjs in Richmond and it was terrible!!!! That is not peach cobbler Im not sure where she got her recipe from.

The Pecan pie is great. My problem is that the labeling is incorrect. I don't think there is cream cheese or sweet potato in pecan pie. My kid is allergic to almost everything. Since the proper ingredients are not listed, no pie for her. That means no more pie for me and $$$ lost in business.

I normally buy their cake slices and desserts from JJ's fish. This was my first time going to their actual location. I ordered a cake for Thanksgiving and it was kinda pricey but everything has gone up due to inflation so it is what it is. Cake was delicious!

I bought the peach cobbler and pound cake from a restaurant in Richmond. The peach cobbler was terrible. I've never in my life ate crunchy peaches in a cobbler. The pound cake was disappointing. Who makes a 2-layer pound cake with cream cheese icing. Didn't taste like a pound cake to me. Her desserts are nasty!!!

I just had the worst piece of lemon cake EVER. It was like a sponge with a thin layer of frosting slapped on top. It was extremely dry!
