Pretty disappointed with this place. I ordered a couple of time from here but the last round was very disappointing. The food was super spicy and gave me a lot of discomfort. I called them about it but never heard back and even contacted them via Instagram but no response either. I had to toss out 50% of the food out and it was a waste of money. Plus, I requested a PM delivery and it was delivered at 4 am - setting off the cameras sending an alert in the house, waking up the entire house. So annoyed.

Talked to someone concerning my 150-200 prepaid credit months ago who agreed to meet me with my meals in Oakland; I work home health in Alameda and Contra Costa counties. I finally got an answer when I called today with the owner stating “I wouldn’t ever agree to meet anyone, sweetheart” I live in Sacramento which is too far for delivery. However, I have stopped by and called several times to make arrangements with store front being closed. Was informed today that the storefront has been closed (which I knew) and will not be open anymore. He stated “he doesn’t open his doors for anyone because he cooks for....I don’t remember who” I think I was supposed to be impressed. Which is odd because the register is moved 2 feet from the door when I was there last week. Customers do NOT have access to the coolers anymore”. The person also said that he doesn’t have “a log of who does/doesn’t have credits”. He also said “it’s been a year and the receipt says you have 3 months, sweetheart.” He also stated “we only closed the first 3 weeks of the pandemic”I didn’t want my money back. I wanted my meals. I thought with everything opening it would be easier to do business.I guess he needs my credits more than a regular customer. It’s sad because I do home health OT and have referred my patients and friends to this establishment several times. They will no longer be getting any referrals from me.Good luck to you, “sweetheart”May God bless you with EXACTLY what you deserve!!!

Tailored meals for you! The owner spent about 20 mins on the phone with me explaining my options and asked great questions to understand what I was looking for. Not only is the service great but the food is tasty being meal prep! 5 stars from me!!!!

Ordered meals and they didn't come with the nutrition information, which was the whole point of getting them in the first place so I can track my macros. Called and the person who I think is the owner was unapologetic and said to email support. Emailed with my order details and called three days in a row, no response. I want my money back, what a waste. Y'all don't know how to run a business or customer service. What a joke.

This last batch was horrible. No taste or flavor to the food. Try turkey and ground beef. The broccoli was old. Very disappointed. Don't know if I would order again.

I had to come back and update my review.. Lately we've been receiving salads with original house dressings, two weeks ago a green salad with a delicious miso dressing and today I received a wonderful salad with walnuts, cucumbers, strawberries, orange pieces, and grilled chicken accompanied by their own house lemon vinaigrette ("Mmm") The house dressings instead of prepackaged makes a big difference and the salads are more pleasant and enjoyable to eat.. it's a great effort on making the salads better. If you are an organization ordering mass meals for your staff expect the typical deli standards, Sandwiches, soups, salads, pasta, but in total honesty some items without the "MmMm" or "WoW" but others do have the quality of a home-cooked meal and very delicious. We often get pastas, sandwiches, salads, fajitas (grilled chicken breasts with peppers and onions) and pasta (spaghetti, sometimes lasagna). On occassion we have received Meatloaf w/Mashed Potatoes and Chilli (without the cornbread ) that have been quite a treat to receive! Some soups leave a little more to be desired but if the soup would be accompanied by something else it would be better. They included a dinner roll on the last soup I had and it was better than having crackers. It helps from keeping me hungry by the end of the day. The salads are always fresh, mixed greens, usually just with a couple of whole sweet peppers and grape tomatoes in the mix but they are improving and getting better lately. Overall, Mass Meals has improved and I am pleasantly content with the food I've been receiving lately. Keep up the good work and THANK YOU!

Tried a meal from these guys. It consisted of chicken with a really strong smell that I could not finish it. The food is really lacking in flavor, however the odor was there even after I had finished eating it. I would say a prepackaged meal from a gas station tastes better.
These guys are the best option I have found when you do not have the time to prepare meals yourself. In addition to the meals though, these guys provide a sound dietary plan that an individual can apply if the individual has the time.

There are a variety of items on the menu to meet your need. I enjoyed the food and tastes. Portion is ok. Although I do get hungry before next meal since I am a bit eater. They deliver all the meals in an insulated bag and they ring your door bell letting you know they're here. (some delivery service don't, so I like to point this out). One thing I'd like to point out is there was an issue with my very first order, and the owner provided a great customer service to keep me as their customer for the future. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a meal prep service.

Meal prep that tastes like mommas cooking. All the veggies burst with flavor and all the protein is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The owner has a ton of knowledge and you can tell he cares as much about the flavor as he does the health aspect. The only east bay place that comes to mind with no trade offs. I found this place a few months ago and I'm so glad I did. I work full time and go to school so i don't have a lot of free time to plan out my meals and then prepare them for the week. The meals are nicely portioned, healthy, and delicious. The prices are great too. They are made fresh everyday. I like to go pick a few up for the week for my lunch at work. They heat and taste great even days after being prepared. It's so nice to have a healthy meal instead of fast food.
