Excellent staff, though they can be very busy during breakfast so it may take a wait. Tried their tuna melt, which was Ok, but the potato salad was very disappointing. The potatoes were underdone.

Tuna melt was delicious, but the homemade potato chips were fabulous. Went well with a beer after a round of golf.

Beautiful location and good food. Chicken pesto sandwich is very tasty and filling. Avocado toast was good too. Pomegranate iced tea was just fine.
Great views pf the golf course. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Service was good.
Only complaint- they included 20% service charge for breakfast for two people in the bill. It was not mentioned anywhere and felt unfair. Otherwise its all good.

Great if you are looking for a quick bite after your round of golf. Also good without the golf. Great breakfast and lunch menu.

Mission Hills Cafe: A Hole-in-One for Breakfast

Yo foodies! Listen up, because I just teed off on an epic breakfast adventure at Mission Hills Cafe in Hayward, CA. This spot is a double bogey for both casual diners and golfers looking for a pre-course fuel-up.

First things first, let's talk about the atmosphere. It's chill and welcoming, perfect for starting your day off right. But here's the secret sauce: the staff. My waitress, Andy, was on point. Served  my breakfast nice and hot with the speed of a driver finding a lost ball, and always had a smile that could rival a birdie putt.

Now, onto the main course: the Spring Time Omelette. This bad boy was bursting with fresh, seasonal veggies, mushrooms, spinach, cooked to a perfect crisp-tenderness. It felt like Chef Hector himself had picked them straight from the garden – major kudos to his skills! Plus, it came with these thin slices of sourdough toast that were toasted to a delightful golden brown and amazing hash brown you don't want to miss. The kind of toast that makes you wanna go back for (or maybe that's just me?).

Overall, Mission Hills Cafe is a surefire ace for breakfast. Great food, awesome staff, and a vibe that's relaxed yet satisfying. So, whether you're swinging by for a pre-round bite or just a casual weekend breakfast, this spot is a definite must-try. Just be warned, you might find yourself wanting to linger a bit longer than expected – and that's a good thing!
