Paris Baguette

I called ahead to ask if their cakes come with candles and the person on the phone from that location said yes.

I immediately place the DoorDash order, which arrives in a sealed bag. No candles despite the person on the phone saying that “all cakes come candles and a cake knife.”

I usually enjoy Paris Baguette, but I was really disappointed with my recent visit. I purchased a mocha cake around 6:30 PM on 10/10, only to notice the sticker on the box clearly showed it expired that same morning at 11:45 AM. The cake tasted stale, and the cream was so firm it actually took effort to cut through, definitely not what I’d expect from a fresh cake.

When I returned to the store to share my concern, instead of acknowledging the mistake, the staff and the owner completely denied the cake was expired, even though the label said otherwise.

Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. I expected a simple apology or replacement, not denial. Unfortunately, this experience makes me question their quality control and transparency.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and ensures freshness checks and honest communication with customers going forward.

Got stranded by BART and had to find a place to take a meeting. This Paris Baguette was perfect — the employees were friendly and the matcha was amazing. I wish the tables were a bit cleaner, but overall nice interior/atmosphere!

Staff is very friendly, and the pastry selection is massive. Plan ahead for parking because it's very limited.

The pastries at Paris baguette has always been consistently good but this location had quite a few gnats/fruit flies in one of their pastry displays and could be found on the pastries that had fruit, which was kind of disgusting. I still purchased the pastries I love but was a little disappointed at seeing all the fruit flies.

The staff are unprofessional, and the manager rarely follows up with the team and is always absent. If you have an issue with your order, you won't be able to address it because there's no one taking responsibility for customer support at this branch.

Paris Baguette is one of my go to spots. Everything is always so fresh, from the bread to the cakes. I love how they’re not too sweet but still full of flavor. The croissants are super flaky, and their strawberry cakes are amazing and my café latte never doubts me.The shop itself has a nice vibe, really clean, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

The only good thing about here is the bakery other than that the service is terrible I came in today and they took 20 minutes on my drink and made it wrong and I waited even longer for another one and it tasted horrible every time I come here the drinks never taste the same.

We love the place and all confectionery they offer worth the extra price compared to other stores. Atmosphere and ambiance is excellent as well.

Service has always been very good but today we had to ask for candles and cutting knife before leaving. A bag was not offered at all.

We are glad to have the store in our neighborhood which always has several ready choices available especially if we are in a hurry

A slightly lower rating due to the parking. It's impossible to find good parking and you are out of luck on most days if you are challenged with parallel parking ;)
