Sushi was so good! I was happily surprised by how good the rice was in the sushi roll. The table was super sticky though and the ambiance of the restaurant isn't great, but the service was very attentive and again this food was so tasty..

I wonder why this restaurant will get 45 stars. This was my first time visited and I ordered chirashi If this sushi was served in Japan, nobody will eat it. I was hungry so I ate 1/3 and I also saw another table order udon and they left most of them.

Sapporo serves some of the best Udon noodle I have had anywhere. The sushi is very fresh and well prepared. The panko breaded tempura is outstanding. Our server is always knowledgeable and friendly. We love the low key and welcoming vibe here. The price is right for the quality of the food. We dine here as often as we can when in the area.

Shusi was not the best. The heat on the ones marked spicy was not very spicy. The price for the quality was not at all close. I’ve paid less and had much better. My girlfriend was not impressed so that puts a negative for sushi here. I’m running at 50% now so I’m going to have to find a good place next time.

Poor service. Waitress was unable to advise on wines or beers. Unwilling to offer a taste of draft beer. Also unable to advise on the favorite items on the menu. Food was mediocre at best. Sushi roll fell apart, food delivered scattershot, edamame came last!? Not horrible, but not good.
One of the best sushi places in Hayward. Service is always wonderful, food is fresh, and there is such a variety. Truly one of our family favorites to go to.
