The new remodel is whack. Most people can’t really tell where the line even starts.The new crew was very rude to other costumers while I waited for my drink. They were disheveled with what was going on and even though people were clearly in line waiting to order they were just being ignored. Sad for the change.

Disappointing Changes at My Once-Favorite StarbucksI've been a regular at the Starbucks located at 23948 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA 94541, as it's conveniently close to my home. Unfortunately, recent visits have left me disappointed. It seems there might have been a change in leadership, given the influx of new faces.Parking is still plentiful, but the atmosphere has shifted noticeably. The once-positive vibes are off, and both drinks and food take an unusually long time to be served. It's disheartening to witness mobile orders, in particular, taking longer than those placed by walk-in customers.This experience highlights the significant impact leadership and management can have on the efficiency and overall experience at a location. I hope that this Starbucks can return to its previous standard of service, as the current situation feels chaotic, akin to a headless chicken running around.

I went in on Dec 17 to buy a 25.00 gift card.The person that I gave it too told me that there was only 16.00 on the card when they used it for the 1st time. I will never go there again.

Came in to buy a sandwich and use the bathroom. My wife asked if they had a specific sandwich and an employee said yes. Then she proceeded to leave to make mobile orders while we were standing waiting to place our order. Odd, but understandable during a rush I guess. After minutes of standing and having employees completely disregard our and the rest of the line's existence she finally came back to take our order. At which point we try to order the sandwich we asked about and she then informs us that they are out. My wife, understandably annoyed, says "you just told me you had it" to which she replies that a mobile order had taken the last one. Again, understandable I guess since the mobile order had already been placed and it wouldn't be fair for us to essentially snag their sandwich. So my wife asks for another sandwich which they also just ran out of. At this point we decided to leave as did a couple other customers.

I've given this Starbucks multiple chances and always tipped because I'm a regular and I know how stressful this job can be-- BUT service has gotten really downhill this year. Workers are rude & want to talk back to customers especially when I tipped and politely asked for a request. They have no desire to connect or help customers at all. Management needs to hire genuine people.My drink doesn't even get the proper pumps of vanilla. They do not have any basic customer connecting skills. I would not recommend going here if you think your drink will be made properly, and you'll feel yourself begging for basic human connection too.

The service was not that good, I had to wait until the cashier to stop talking. But the food was nice so its ok. I would come here.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terrible experience. For one horrible management!! I seen a bigger back gentleman walking around in black slides?? The same gentleman smelt like marijuana and seem to be high. On top of that I seen a blonde hair asian guy doing nothing while I was waiting for my order. Majority of the staff was on their phone including the manager. Bryce was leaning on the counter the whole time on his phone while I was waiting for someone to take my order. Do better Starbucks and get better management and Baristas.

If you get anything other than coffee, your opinion is invalid. I'm sorry, but people who don't get coffee drinks are always the most entitled and inpatient. Please, these are baristas, not machines. If you don't like long wait times, don't contribute by ordering unessesary drinks. After all, this is a coffee shop, go to McDonald's or 711 for your fun drinks!!

This location DOES NOT have a drive-thru. I have changed it several times, and Google or the store itself keeps changing it back. Do not come here if you need a quick drive-thru drink. This is a slow, walk-in store.
