Hello,Due to the companies inefficiency to provide their employees with help when injured, is the reason this place deserves a one star review. The amount of exploitation I've heard of from this place is impeccable. There are immense cases that are swept under the rug. Do not support this company if you support inhumane labour. I will be taking this to a further notice.

This location is not for tourists. Stopped by while on a family trip to San Francisco and the front door was locked and said "Appointments Only - No Visitors". We should have tried visiting the San Francisco location but figured that was a tourist trap. Didn't know this location does not accommodate visitors. It's a shame too, would have liked to see what else they sell besides Madelines and Brownie Bites.

Omg when I went there I just stopped by to ask a question and the lady was very kind, she spoke to me with great affection, she even gave me some cookies, they are good people. I recommend it

Got a package of Apple fritters , ate the first one. A couple days later grabbed another one, put on plate to warm up in microwave. Ate almost half and felt grit in my teeth. I pulled another piece apart and heard a “ping ping” looked down and their were 2 rocks in my plate. Got the container where there was 2 more fritters left and moved one of the fritters....more rocks!!! Called and called the company. But know one will pick up a phone, every prompt I click on no matter who the person is says mailbox is full. I’ve sent a message to the company on messenger as well no luck. My next step is to contact the health dept. very disappointed and disgusted that no one will talk to me.

Every time I need to go to the Geary St Kaiser, I make a stop at the Sugar Bowl for a little comfort food. Today's treat was an egg and cheese on an English muffin with a little ketchup. In previous visits I've had fruit salad, various pastries, and once some shrimp dumplings. All reliably fresh and good. The place is clean and the service is speedy, so it's pleasant to sit and wait for others too. They could turn on a few more lights, though- it's a bit dark inside.

Purchase the apple fritters for breakfast it was the most unpleasant experience left a metallic taste in your mouth. Don't think I will purchase again.
Docks bit tight but response from staff very nice. In & out in 30 minutes.
