This place used to be great, but things have taken a nosedive. The quality of the carne asada has significantly declined, and the lengua tacos were absolutely disgusting. I couldn’t even finish them. To make matters worse, I was charged for two extra tacos that I didn’t order. She was completely rude, and didn’t want to give me a refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. You’ll be wasting your money and disappointed with the food.

Food is delicious. They have cabeza and lengua and a salsa bar.

Service is super friendly.

The place looks like a fast food restaurant, but it's a high value spot.

I am not one to write reviews, but I felt that it was necessary to write this. I loved this place so much, I would come here very often for the past few years. I have never had a bad experience, up until recently. I am not sure what happened, but the recent experiences I have had were not good at all. It seems that the quality of the food has gone downhill because I have gotten sick from eating here twice, which has never happened before. What makes it worse is that I have been overcharged twice by the same person at the register. The customer service and food quality has gone downhill a lot, I won't be coming back any time soon.

There's better Mexican food all over the bay area but you gotta give props to the owners and staff of this bright sunny happy and alright I admit it is a delicious place. Maybe an actual trip to Guadalajara that involves jet engines and cruising altitude and margaritas out of a bottle might be a teeny bit more fun and delicious and happy and sunny tan making but for East Bay SF this place may not take the cake but it's definitely in the running. 😊🥳🤗

This place used to have amazing carne asada and green salsa, but the quality has really gone downhill. The carne asada is now bland and not crispy, and the salsa tastes old. Prices have gone up, but the food isn’t worth it anymore. Customer service is poor, and it’s uncomfortable seeing the owner speak harshly to the staff. The only upside is the young man with tattoos, he’s always friendly. Sadly, I won’t be coming back.

Customer service is so bad! The tripa tacos aren't even cleaned properly when they cook them. Everyone including inside the kitchen when they give you your food are so rude! The prices are overpriced to the max. Do not come here!!

Overpriced tacos that are 3 out of 5 the pastor was not too good. The service sucks they don't even bring the food to you if you dine in. They have the nerve to ask for tips. Also not sure how this place is still up when the place is empty all the time. I would not eat here again the experience was bad and the food was overpriced. 3 dollars for store bought chips and they cost more than 3 dollars but whatever. These Mexican restaurants think they are 5 stars when they are not. I would not come back here again.

Don't come here unless u like ppl who aren't about customer service. I ordered 6 tacos with cheese and sour cream. Simple. They put Hella stuff with rice and beans and lettuce. I told them I didn't ask for that please can u remake it
They said the order was so huge they couldn't . So if you Come here don't expect them to make your food right or even remake it
This place sucks with their customer service I didn't even get to try their food.
Will not be coming back. Not sorry

Absolutely the best tacos in the island. I am Mexican and every bite reminded me of my grandma's cooking. The tacos were amazing and we also tried the esquite and especially the Tijuana tacos.

Love the family environment felt like home. If you are looking for great service and authentic best tacos and Mexican food. This is a must if you are in Ponce.

Ate lunch here the other day. Ordered two of their tacos, grilled chicken. Meh. While food was OK, it wasn't as good as advertised in some of these reviews. Chicken tasted reheated and the flavor was a bit flat/bland. The tortilla was the star, this tasted freshly made. The salsa bar is impressive and you get free access to it [many taqs are limiting salsa bar access these days]. I was more impressed with the service than the food. My tacos came up within minutes. Prices also seemed reasonable too. Maybe I'll try again and give the chicken another chance.
