Good old Chinese food reminds me of the 1980-1990, the new Chinese places now are different

Food is good, authentic Chinese. Portion is a bit small. There was a party that evening, yet service is still good. They gave us a free desert! This is not an upscale romantic restaurant, so atmosphere is normal, no fanfare. Will go back if l am in the area.

We used to love this place, the food is great, well was the servings got smaller!! And their rice has no flavor. Also they force a 20% tip, they write it down themselves, that's ridiculous!

Excellent Cantonese style dishes that are prepared quickly. The salt & pepper pork chops were especially good. Eggplant was a little too oily and seafood in XO sauce was rather mild (menu said "spicy"). If they could pay more attention to service, this place would be 5 stars.

I don't know how good their food is, but if you like to spend your hard-earned money for bad or no service, you may try for yourself. We went at 6pm and seated but left without anything due to the horrible service. They were kind of busy but far away from full house. There were four working there including a guy looked like the owner. We sat for good 15 minutes with no tea nor water before the first guy came to check on us. However, he couldn't take orders so he offered to get us someone else. The waitress came like another 10 minutes later. We asked how long it would take to get our orders prepared since we made the stop for dinner from heading somewhere. That woman said there will be at least 20-30 minutes since they were busy. I was going to order anyway since we've waited over 25 minutes already. That woman dare to drop her pen and it's up to you, I don't care if you want to eat here or not. That added the last straw to upset us. We decided to leave.

There’s a lot of good Asian restaurants in the Bay Area, but this is the only one my mom would come to when she didn’t feel like cooking. The food is excellent- second only to mom’s, and truth be told, it’s often better. The dim sum is better than in SF- delicious delicate chee cheung fun, crispy jian dui with the perfectly chewy inside, tasty taro cake and the freshest char kway teow. A lot of dishes can be made vegetarian, and the ingredients are quality and fresh. Service is quick and friendly and the owner will also do private parties and catering. Dont just drive by this place- it deserves a regular rotation on your restaurant list.
