The garlic Adobong Mani ((garlic peanut adobo flavor) is very good, however, it is not consistently cooked. At times, it is perfectly browned and so peanutty. But many times, the peanut is not well browned and they are so light in color. It looks like someone rushed the cooking.

It used to be good and cheap. Now it’s expensive, smaller, or not as good as it used to be. They raised the prices so high at the same time making the bread smaller, or of lower quality or both. Good examples are the haba-haba, bicho-bicho, cheese bread, and the cheese bulilit. But people still buy them because there’s no other option especially for craving Filipinos.

I'm disappointed with Turon. The banana they used was not ripe. It is terrible for the business to make a profit out of it. Even though the food does not have a high quality.

Nice place to buy filipino sweet desserts ??
Good variety of baked goods; many come in packs that are just too big for one person.
Everything is too expensive.Bakery isn't essential diet nutritional.I'll just spare the spending on fruits and veggies ??????????
Review of the pinoy tamales at Valerio’s Hayward. When we first tried their tamales (it first came out at their Union City store), it was outstanding. But the quality deteriorated over time. For the past year, we have been buying the Tamales at the Southland Mall Hayward location, and it has slowly deteriorated in quality. Last week, we bought 8 and my family members noticed that the texture is now ‘gaw-gaw’, like a tender kutsinta, a jelly’ish brown steamed rice flour cake. This latest Valerio’s tamales recipe is unappetizing, a far cry from their initial recipe that we had bought and enjoyed in the past. Like I said, it was like jello.Hey Valerios, at a price of almost $6 each, we hope you can bring back your good quality tamales. Penny-pinching is good for the profit margin but there will be no profit if less of your patrons will buy it. Sadly, that will be our very last time to buy tamales. We’ll buy again when we hear it has improved.
No complaints, cashier is nice

98 percent good...Hayward location only... Their bibingkang malagkit was hard both times I have purchased. After this, I hesitate to try the other similar items.Hayward, Union City, and Milpitas locations... Just about everytime I have gotten the cream cheese or pineapple cream cheese haba haba, there has been some portion that was not fully cooked. Spreading the filling more evenly or less filling would probably help this situation. That pineapple pie at any location is like a Renuzit gel cone air freshener from the 1950s. Extra super artificial flavor.

Expensive
Enjoy Filipino pastries and other baked goods. Items are always fresh, with some, including the popular "Pan de Sal" hot off the oven. Prices are affordable.
