Their Chole bhature are the best in the whole Bay Area. Try it once and you can tell the difference. I have ordered it many times and will continue to do so but I have tried their other food items which were just ok. Their naans needs improvement. Not sure what happened but when I took them home and tried to eat them, they were basically stretchy and unchewable. I hope they fix this problem. When eaten in the store, they are very good.

Rates are high when compared to the other Indian grocery stores , if you want to shop something quick near Hayward and does not want to travel far to union city or Fremont then consider it. If you are looking for a proper grocery or any bulk purchase then I would suggest going to Fremont.Note: This place does not have much of veggies or fruits.

We drive 30 minutes (sometimes more with traffic) to eat at this place. There’s food that’s already prepared or you can order from a menu. What I love most is that the food tastes homemade. The staff are warm and last time we even chatted with the chef. We typically eat at the table inside, pack more for our next meal, and pick up groceries. Wonderful clean and friendly one-stop shop.

Great grove try store for South Asian/ Indian groceries. They have a small cafe inside the store. Although service is great, food can be a hit and miss. Paneer and Chhole is usually good, chaat is also good but other veggies can be tricky. We usually come here for a quick bite, if we are in the north Hayward neighborhood.

Such a blessing to have an Indian snack food place so close to home! We usually drive to Fremont for evening tea time snacks like Pakoras( fritters) and samosas. But the cook here knows how to make really tasty snacks. The mix veg pakoras are always crispy and flavorful. Their chaat is also very good. With the weather turning cold and rainy this is the place to go get some piping hot Indian street food. It's an Indian grocery store so seating is limited. They just have one large table, so that's something to keep in mind. But the yummy food and free chai make it worthwhile .
