Nice little gem in Hayward, owner was very friendly and in the business for 30+ years, nice to visit a local tasting room from grapes just up in the hayward hills! Reasonably priced and I got a free bottle with a purchase of a full priced bottle.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our tasting of 6 wines, very reasonably priced. I've tasted wine at others places where i didn't buy anything, but i bought a bottle of white and a bottle of red. Very nice, fun and easy experience.

It was so nice to see this little tasting room in downtown hayward! The space is small but is very clean, bright, and casual. There were some cool art pieces on the walls too. We went in as a group of 4 and sat comfortably at the bar. Paul was such a nice guy, and he grows his grapes in the Hayward Hills. He was very attentive and taught us about the various wines. We tasted red and whites for an affordable price. Paul also served us cheese and crackers.

I've lived in Hayward for the past five years and never knew there was a local winery down the street. I was pleasantly surprised by the wine Paul has made. His vineyard is located in the Hayward hills and wow...his wine a great. Go by his shop Wednesday through Sunday. You won't be disappointed.

We recently visited Wine Time - Houston Family Vineyards and had a very enjoyable time. The tasting room is modern and comfortable. There are wine barrels in the shop where the wine is being aged.Paul, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and the wine industry. The wine tasting cost is reasonable, and the wines are excellent and also reasonably priced.The grapes are locally grown and produced. We bought several bottles of wine and will definitely be returning. If you are ever near the downtown Hayward area, I recommend stopping by!

4.4 stars. A lot to like. Reasonable prices. Nice enough room. A local place in downtown Hayward with local wines (vineyards up near Hayward cemetery in Hayward hills).However there are only two types of wine: chardonnay and pinot noir, almost all vinted in the high extraction, high alcohol, approach so common nowadays. They do a pretty good job in that style though.

Definitely have an appreciation for small family businesses like this one where the grapes are locally grown and produces enjoyable wine! I think what's great about this place is you have the opportunity to speak to the owner first-hand and learn about the business and how their wine is produced. I recommend stopping by!
