Our visit at the end of 2024: We had such a great time here, it’s definitely worth the trip over from Napa if you have the time! The Russian River Valley is one of our favorite wine regions, and Arista produces some of the best Pinots & Chardonnays we’ve ever tried!
Hannah hosted our Wine Tasting and she was super kind to us throughout our time here, plus knew everything and more about their winemaking process! She really went above and beyond, even taking us to the Zen Garden for a photo op with a direct view of Mt. St. Helena in the background!
Our tasting included the following: 2021 Russian River Valley Chardonnay, 2020 Banfield Vineyard Chardonnay, 2021 El Diablo Chardonnay (not listed in photo), 2021 Russian River Valley Pinot Noir, 2021 UV Vineyard Pinot Noir, 2022 Estate Pinot Noir. A small charcuterie plate was also included with the tasting at no additional cost.
Our favorites by far were the 2021 Russian River Valley Chardonnay, 2021 El Diablo Chardonnay 2021 Russian River Pinot Noir! The Russian River Chardonnay is such a smooth and balanced Chardonnay while the El Diablo is more complex but no flavor profile dominates the other! The Russian River Pinot Noir & UV Pinot Noir are fantastic Pinots that offer very distinctive tasting notes even though they come from the exact same region!

Our family of 4 enjoyed an afternoon of tasting at Arista. It was a beautiful place. The wine was excellent. What impressed us the most was Hannah. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. She took the time to give us a tour and explain their process. An experience we will never forget. I’d highly recommend asked for Hannah if you do decide to go.

Carrie was our host, she was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to give us a memorable experience. Isabelle also provided insight to the wines adding valuable information to our tasting. The wines are fabulous, truly enjoyed all that was poured, we always purchase wine. We had a great experience with David learning about different origins of the grapes and everything about wine making companies by delicious chardonnay and Pinot noir with finger foods. The ambience is great, there’s a nice garden and a tasting room with a great nature view with glass windows. We enjoyed it and love to come back!

The two women who both assisted us were personable and knew a lot about the winery and wines.We spent most of our time with Marissa, and she was a wealth of knowledge! All of the information she had about the history of the property, the winery, the wines, and the general area was simply outstanding.Highly recommend, including this winery in your tasting adventures. We are looking forward to their wine purchasing offerings in the future!
