Ferrari-Carano Winery is a must-visit! The gardens are absolutely gorgeous like walking through a dream. The views are stunning, and the wine is just as amazing. Super relaxing vibe, friendly staff, and a perfect spot for a wine tasting day. Maureen and Jeff are the best!!!

A slice of Tuscany in California. Lots of changes: reservations are a must to assure a tasting. They are also getting ready to end their brunch and start a more family-style meal experience in keeping with a more Italian feel.

This was a great way to end our trip, our favorite wines and best spot we visited. Maureen was excellent to us, knowledgeable, friendly, with a great attitude. She guided us through our wine tasting and finished it off with a tour of the property. The grounds were so beautiful, and all the staff were very nice. So many new things coming to this spot, and we are eager to see what’s in store!

Please know that some people are treated differently than others. You know when you are not wanted. They provided no tour but didn't let us know ahead of time about tours cancelation.

We chanced upon this winery as we were heading to Lake Sonoma. They had a sign that said they welcome walk-ins, and since we've had a bit of time to burn, we decided to get a quick tasting. The place is beautiful, with well maintained grounds. We sipped our wines on a terrace overlooking the vineyard. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely come back and do a proper tasting this time to sample their other offerings.

Tucked away in the heart of Sonoma County, Ferrari-Carano might be one of the most underrated wine tasting destinations we’ve ever visited.

From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were in awe. The grounds are stunning—meticulously designed and beautifully maintained, with views that rival any estate in Napa or Sonoma. Every corner felt like a perfect photo moment, but more importantly, it felt like a peaceful retreat.

The staff was incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and passionate about their wines. We were welcomed with genuine hospitality and guided through our tasting with insight that made every pour more meaningful. It didn’t feel rushed or scripted—it felt like they truly loved what they do and where they do it.

And the wines? Fantastic. Balanced, elegant, and memorable. From bold reds to crisp whites, everything we tried was impressive—and we’ve done our fair share of tastings across California.

If you’re looking for a refined yet relaxed experience, make the time to visit Ferrari-Carano. It’s a hidden gem that deserves far more attention than it gets. We’ll definitely be returning—and bringing friends with us next time.

Relax and sip on award-winning wines while overlooking @ferraricarano 's breathtaking vineyards.  Ferrari Carano is undeniably one of the more beautiful locations we've had the pleasure of visiting. The views are spectacular at this time of the year when all the vines are changing colors from green to yellows, oranges and reds.

Although, we're a red wine drinkers. Their 2020 Ferrari-Carano Dominique Chardonnay, Russian River Valley has made us reconsider our views on chardonnays

My brother and I had the most magical experience in this bucolic setting … the wine was exceptional and we both joined the member wine club on the spot . A very large part of this amazing experience is credit to Andrew , whose perfectly balanced attentiveness and fun and interesting conversation added so much to our time there. We’ll always remember the incredibly gracious people , the amazing wine and beyond beautiful setting that day … and we’ll be back 🍷

We were extremely disappointed in what was available for wine, tasting, and experience, based on how the facility presented.
Staff was polite, but that’s all I can say. I would not recommend this winery for anyone.

Ok. Booked the Chef’s event. “Disastrous” event befell the chef.. so was offered a nice alternative experience… Ok, we dealt with it. We’re “actively encouraged” to join the premier wine club… and did… but only to be told three hours later by phone “we don’t deliver” to our state.

Thanks for being SO on your game before ruining our experience with your multiple vineyards. Thanks Mr. Foley. Great example of “winning”.
