Once again, Carlos hits it out of the park! Seasonal offerings are amazing. Interesting and sometimes unexpected combinations that work beautifully. Really want to try the prix fixe chef's meal. Next time.
Guiso is a one of a kind restaurant! The food is creative, beautifully presented and FULL of flavor! Amazing the quality and quantity of food that small kitchen can put out. There are plenty of great, fancy restaurants in Healdsburg - but Guiso is a must!! Small and unassuming - but some of the bBESXRT food in town. Can't go wrong. Enjoy!
Amazing meal. Delicious food, kind service and a fun atmosphere. What more could you ask for? One of our favorite Healdsburg restaurants!
This was our 2nd time in Guiso. Fist time we were there just before COVID. We selebrate our anniversary. We were gritted with some champagne and the gritting card . It was a very nice start. We ordered Pupusa, roasted broccoli salad, Slow braised octopus and Spicy sautéed wild prawns. Everything was delicious with nice presentation. Very friendly waiters. We will definitely return back.
We loved everything about our experience at Guiso Latin Fusion. The food, the staff and the ambiance were exceptional. If you are looking for delicious food and the kindest staff that welcome you in with stories about the chef and the history of the restaurant, making you feel like you're with family, then you've hit the jackpot. It was one of the most refreshing dining experiences we've had in years.
Outstanding!

Tasty food, pricey though. Wine pours by the glass very small and extremely expensive. Unfortunately had a table of 4 next to us who were very loud and given we were only about 30cm away it made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal
Unreal. This place has unbelievable food. Small restaurant, owner/chef right behind the counter cooking and food that will blow you away. The cachapa is unbelievable. GO HERE. Have Ruby wait on you. An amazing experience.

Excellent food, wine, and service. We moved to the Bay Area three months ago and have eaten many many delicious meals in San Francisco. Guiso has topped every meal so far, so much so that we made it a priority to hit Sonoma County to impress our serious foodie Philly friends. The papusas and Guiso's take on smash burgers are divine. Casual atmosphere with top notch food. This is a must.
Chef Carlos and his staff never disappoint. The food was awesome. This was our 4 th time eating here. Every time we go to Healdsburg to pick up our wine club at Gracianna winery we eat supper at Guiso. Will definitely be back.

We really wanted to love this place. The service and atmosphere was wonderful. The food was just ok. The chile relleno was mushy. Nothing was exceptional. For the price we hoped for more.

Outstanding experience dining at Guiso. The food was superb, beautiful and delicious. Truly unique and bounding with flavor. Every member of the team was exceptional as well to include our wonderful and attentive server, Ruby,
There are many great restaurants in Healdsburg and it is fun to try new ones but Guiso is always the first reservation we make when we know will be visiting. It has consistently been good since it opened 10 years ago and it remains fantastic. Love the new addition of the happy hour menu.
First, we all agreed the service was impeccable. The location is outstanding. Chairs and table were very comfortable. We were a party of 6, all locals. The waiter really billed the food as traditional chef family recipes. To start, we had two orders of the chicken tinga tostadas and one order of the shishito peppers off the happy hour menu. Both were very good, but small portions..we dismissed this because it was happy hour. We also ordered a bottle of Unti Vermentino which was crazy priced at $67! (beer/wine only, and the wine offerings were expensive at $60 and up per bottle.) We had 3 non-drinkers who had lemonade, and three who drank wine. The waiter suggested for our mains to order family style, all shareable. We ordered the salad, pulpo, the lamb dish, pupusas and the hangar steak dish. The pulpo was very overcooked and the special tomato sauce that accompanied was billed as being a family secret was meh, very lackluster. Again pretty shocking for $38. The lamb was delicious and was arguably the majority of the tables favorite, however again an extremely small portion for $33. The hangar was very good, served with a bed of mixed mushrooms including chanterelles, but again a shocking portion for $47. Lastly, we ordered two orders of the pupusa, a Salvadorean favorite among us all. We were expecting something traditional, but what was served were 4 dinky little pancake size flaps and not one of the 6 of us could discern which was chicharron and which was squash blossom because they were so small and not filled. Worst yet they served them with the cabbage slaw on top so they were soggy. The slaw was however delish. By the end with dessert offering, we were ready to leave go grab ice cream nearby and probably plan on a 9pm snack when we got home. $360+ with tip and we left not satiated at all. With all the write ups in local outlets, we were all very excited and left feeling, meh: no need to try again.
