Hazel Hill at Montage is always a treat and is very pretty. Sitting outside is a must if the weather is nice. Service is top notch. Lovely when they have live entertainment out on the patio--Every time we've experienced this the music/artist has always been pleasant. Cocktails and wine here are always winners. Starters: Goguette Sourdough bread with duck fat herb butter -- delicious! Can't miss this one. Spaghetti Chittara ~ dungeness crab, fennel, saffron, calabrian chile -- fantastic. Mains: Grilled pork chop with roasted local peaches, porcini mushrooms, mustard jus -- this had the potential to be great, but the chops were overdone so were rather dry, and the peaches really lacked flavor which was surprising. Decent sized meal with 2 chops. Alaskan halibut with smoked eggplant, summer squash, sauce vierge -- again, this had the potential to be very good, and it was good, but just a bit overcooked, so again, on the dry side. This is also a small meal, with not a lot of substance to it, more vegetables, or a bigger piece of fish would be better. Dessert: Not sure what it was called exactly, and it is not listed on the current menu, but it was some type of fruit Charlotte with rhubarb. Very good, and light.

Absolutely perfect experience. We sat outside and enjoyed a beautiful setting, the food was outstanding-every dish was flavorful and fresh. The service was attentive and warm from start to finish. Couldn't have asked for a better night out.

Beautiful property in an amazing location. The service staff were wonderful. However, the low point for us was the food. It was a slow Monday night with about eight tables of patrons. I was expecting something stellar from the kitchen since they could really focus on quality and execution given the small patron turnout. I was shocked the kitchen staff overcooked both chicken dishes, a duck plate and pork chop. Additionally, there was a significant delay between our appetizer course and main course. Really bummed because was such high hopes. Clearly, the kitchen staff lacked proper training. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Hazel Hill given the poor dining experience and numerous dining options in Healdsburg.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Hazel Hill during our wine tasting day in Sonoma. The view and ambiance outside on the patio is outstanding and the food and service was top notch as well. Highly recommended!

I have been to Hazel Hill multiple times. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Sonoma County. The food is excellent but the ambience can't be beat. Pricey but worth the splurge especially for special occasions. Best to sit outside on the patio
