We just spent several days in Healdsburg and stopped into the LIOCO tasting room that had been highly recommended by our hotel. What a warm and welcoming vibe!!! It was a warm sunny afternoon and all of their windows were open out onto the street. They have a darling park-let where you can comfortably sit and enjoy your tasting experience. They play fabulous music from their extensive record collection on a turntable. We spent a couple of hours there enjoying the various wines. We focused on their white wines and every single one was delicious. We also tasted the rose and it was great. We had planned to buy five bottles of the wines we liked the best and realized it made more sense to join the wine club, get the discount and be on the list for future events and new wine releases. They actually have two pick up parties a year where you can come to a great party and pick up your shipment. We can't wait to comeback for the next pick-up party, now that we are wine club members.

Never even got a chance to taste the wine. I was a walk-in and was completely ignored for 6 or 7 minutes. Then we he finally acknowledged me he was very inhospitable. I waited with the menu for another 3 minutes. He had 2 other tables, a four top and a 2 top. He spent time with them before he came back to me, and was not hospitable again. So I said good bye and left.

Had a great experience wine tasting on the patio. Our server/wine expert was amazing. The wines were interesting, different than what we're used to from Oregon wine country. Overall, had a fantastic time.

Delicious light-bodied, expressive wines. Pinot and Chardonnay plus some yummy outliers like Cortese and Carignane. Make sure to tip Mike in the Tasting Room - he's a highly educated wine pro with practical experience in production. For an industry that can only afford youngsters and retirees, it's not everyday you'll get an expert with as much passion. The TR is beautiful and dreamy and feels like being on the Coast! Highly recommend! Yum.

Lioco and Michael specifically was an absolutely wonderful addition to our girls trip. We were only in town for 3 days and visited Lioco every evening even after saying we didn’t want to be repeat customers anywhere so we’d continue trying new places. That’s how great this place was. The group favorite was easily the Tidal Break chard, but the best part was easily Michael. He was so kind and knowledgeable and simply made our trip that much more fun. If we ever make it back to Sonoma/Headlesberg, we will definitely be back.

Great clean wines with crisp acidity from cool coastal climates ranging from Mendocino to Santa Cruz that reflect their regional diversity. Mike is awesome and very attentive. Totally chill place.

LIOCO for the win again!! I stopped in yesterday for a “between holidays” breather, and as always it was top-notch. Whether settling in at the bar or an outdoor table on a sunny day, I find the atmosphere is always relaxed and fun! I am always welcomed warmly by a wine-savvy staff member. I’m partial to the refreshing chardonnays, and have been known to take home a bottle or two, but I also love the pinot noirs - so aromatic and smooth. Check it out!

Outside of the glamour and show of bigger California wineries, Lioco captures the soul of winemaking that most others lack. Real people, real wines, real terroir presented in the context of genuine hospitality. We loved the tasting room and wines, but truly what sticks out the most is that Lioco=good people.
