Beautiful tasting room and property. Probably the nicest sit down side by side we did all trip. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, Bri was great!
I felt the wines were not as impressive here compared to other wineries we visited. I felt bottle prices were high. Could just be me though (not super experienced).
we had Saul - he’s the best. incredibly hospitable and we will be coming back!
Beautiful setting for wine tasting. Very dog friendly. Fantastic and knowledgeable staff.
My family and I had an amazing experience with Michael and the entire team at MacRostie! We not only enjoyed the exceptional wine tasting, but also felt like we had a masterclass in the production process and the variety of grapes and wines they offer. Truly the best wine tasting experience we’ve ever had!
P.S. The place is gorgeous, such a great spot to relax and enjoy wine.
My fiancé and I visited MacRostie today after hearing great things about it. The winery exceeded our expectations. Bri was a fantastic, approachable, and knowledgeable guide. She sat with us for almost two hours answering our questions about wine (we are beginner wine tasters). She was very down to earth and excited to answer our silly questions. We would highly recommend going to MacRostie and having Bri host your tasting if possible!
Excellent wines, but the server complicated the experience...too much talking
We visited Healdsburg for a birthday weekend. MacRostie Winery was an outstanding choice. The tasting experience was fantastic and the grounds were beautiful. Delicious wines with friendly, knowledgeable and professional service from Bri. We became members!
Disappointing Birthday Experience at MacRostie Winery
My wife booked two tastings for her birthday at MacRostie Winery Estate House, hoping for a special celebration. Unfortunately, our experience was incredibly disappointing and left a sour taste.
We arrived as a party of seven: my wife and I, our three children under six, and our two mothers. Upon informing the host that only two of us would be participating in tastings, and that our mothers do not drink, they went inside to consult with management.
The host returned to inform us that we would be surcharged an additional $9 per person, including our young children and non-drinking mothers. This meant we would have to pay $100 for the two tastings plus an extra $63 just for the privilege of sitting there, bringing our total to $163.
What made this even more frustrating was the abundance of available space, both indoors and outdoors; the establishment was largely empty. It's truly baffling why a winery would penalize a family for bringing along non-drinking members, especially when there was clearly no issue with overcrowding. This policy felt exploitative completely frustrating what should have been a joyful birthday celebration. We left feeling undervalued and ripped off. The next winery was so kind and even asked “did they surcharge even the kids? We don’t do that here”. I would never recommend going with your family.
Our favorite wine tasting experience of our two days in Healdsburg! We don’t usually love Chardonnays and Pinots, but we loved them from here. Our server was bubbly and delightful, the view was fantastic.
I had an informative, professional tasting with Heather, who couldn't have been more easy to talk to and quick to answer in-depth wine questions. I was amazed at the aromatic complexity of the wines, particularly the Pinots. The Macrostie portfolio is attractive with a greater number of varieties represented, more than many other nearby wineries. The property is stunning, the caliber of wine and service is fantastic. Enjoy and don't miss!

Great experience. Excellent service,
lovely setting and stunning views. Highly recommend.
Amazing experience. Delicious wines and the snacks were great too. Special shout out to Briana for being super friendly and attentive to us. We will definitely be back!
After doing a lot of research, we left regretting having such high expectations going into the tasting.
Please be sure to treat all later in the day guests with the same care and precision as earlier guests.
We only received half of the wines that were actually on the tasting menu. Some of the wines we received weren’t even on the actual extended menu. The discussion about the wines felt rushed and boring without holding our attention.
We were sitting waiting for a while before anyone actually came over to greet us and start the tasting. It was disappointing needing to sit inside on such a lovely day.
I’d highly suggest offering something other than the watered down tea for the designated drivers.
Overall, we were left feeling confused and disappointed during and after the tasting.
Beautiful scenery & wonderful wines. Our server Sol made our visit fun, educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting. ‘Better call Sol’. Ask for him. A fun guy that’s been around and knows things
Do not miss MacRostie! From the minute we stepped out of the car the staff met us and handed us a glass of rosé to taste while we were checking in. We lucked into getting Season as our wine ambassador. She was absolutely amazing. She really knew about all of their wines and the winemaking process in general. She was upbeat and fun. Season really worked with everyone in our group ( 7 people) to understand our likes and dislikes and personalize the tasting for each of us. The wines were all delicious, so good that 3 of the couples in the group joined their wineclub. The views were beautiful too. You really should make this a regular stop on your wine tasting travels. I can't wait to go back!
