This place has really good wine and also does a great paring. We have brought friend from out of town there and we always end up by wine.
Our daughter and I visited Manzanita Creek Winery one day and thoroughly enjoyed it! The setting is breathtaking! I can only imagine how beautiful it would be when the lavender is in bloom! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We visited the gift shop where I bought some lavender blends and spices for cooking. It would be a lovely place to enjoy a picnic lunch.
Very friendly people.
Staff for the wedding party was above and beyond. The highest professionalism and hospitality.
This is a wonderful way to sip your way through the afternoon. Excellent hospitality!! Delicious wines!
4 years ago, after my wife and I tasted our first Manzanita Creek zinfandel, we spent 6 months trying to buy more! Manzanita Creek was and remains one of our top 2 favorite zinfandel winemakers in all of Sonoma.
My husband and I visited this winery after we saw the YELP deal. We were in Northern California (Healdsburg) for our mini-moon. It looked interesting and I was impressed that they were offering a deal.First impressions: The winery is among other warehouses and we drove by it twice before realizing that was it. Something about the sign is a little misleading. The tasting room is also the barrel room. Reminded me of a brewery, but in a good way (the picture on their website is what you see when you walk in).The staff was very helpful when we walked on and we immediately got to tasting! They had quite a few Zins, that is what they seem to specialize in. A couple we loved, others were ok. I will say that there was not a dud in the bunch. We are Pinot Noir fans and they had one opened and she was able to lets is try that. We walked away with a bottle of it as well as a Zin.BONUS POINTS: We were just getting starting that day and Barbara asked where else we were headed. When we told her along Dry Creek she was nice enough to pull out a map for us and highlights a nice little loop and mention some areas we could stop and picnic at. So sweet! We didn't join the wine club but we will definitely seek them out again! The Yelp deal was nice and we probably would not have tried them without it, since its tucked away. Very glad we did and even without the deal we would have purchased the bottles we did.For the life of me I cannot remember the tasting fee or if there is one or if its waived with purchase. I hope another yelper posts that. I also plan to update this with that info when we visit again!
