Wish we could say we had a good experience but alas we were turned away because of our bike cleats. So cyclists and peeps with glorious footware beware. Either remove your shoes that will cause damage to the cork floor inside the tasting room or you cannot enter and therefore must use the portable toilet around back. Would have stayed for a tasting but there was no sign indicating this rule and we were chastised. Cute pig out back though, he was the sweetest.

Edit [cleat types were not specified in ruling. My husband and I had plastic cleats, not metal. So unsure of specifications]

Come for the wine, stay for the beautiful grounds!

I proposed here a few weekends ago (she said yes!). I couldn't think of a more beautiful, intimate place! The tasting room has a beautiful view of the vines below the mountains, stunning in the afternoon sun. There is an area with some picnic tables below a clump of redwoods. And the gardens are the highlight for sure, gorgeous, well tended, and we got to sample a few kinds of figs along with our charcuterie!

We really enjoyed their GSM and seeing the wine in the making! Special thanks to Julia, she helped me find the perfect spot for the proposal and just went so much out of her way to make sure we had a time we'll remember for the rest of our lives! We'll definitely be back!

And be sure to say hi to Sir Winston!

My wife and I visited Quivira on a recommendation. Steve, the GM, is absolutely fantastic. He is making wonderful changes and is very personable. He cares! All of the people were extremely nice. Highly recommend you make a reservation and visit.

One of my favorite Sauvignon Blancs, and now hands down their Zifendel is outstanding. The winery itself is gorgeous and there is no bad wine here. Dave was attentive and really knew his wines. Beautiful landscaping and views, great way to spend a Saturday.

Quivira’s property is magical and welcome, made all the more incredible by the team’s hospitality. We picnicked under the redwood grove with a delicious bottle of rose expertly picked by Quivira long-time staffer Dave. After our lunch we explored the gorgeous gardens and even helped feed the chickens! If you’re looking for a relaxing winery getaway, this is the place for you!

Beautiful gardens, great wines! Definitely worth a visit. They have chickens. There are electric car chargers - you can charge your car while wine tasting. Bring a picnic, they have tables.

Had a fantastic experience. Our host was welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They invite you to explore the gardens and tell you what fruits are available for you to sample as well as those that will pair well with your wine. Note - the later it is in a season, the less may be available.

Had a reservation for a Sunday afternoon in September, and it was not crowded at all.

We strolled through the gardens at our leisure and picked a few strawberries and figs.

We didn't necessarily love every single wine in our tasting, but that's okay because we loved every single minute of our wine tasting experience at Quivira.
