A truly wonderful place for a weekend escape with my daughter. Truly luxurious without being pretentious. Can’t wait to come back. Great location with super attentive staff. Will definitely recommend to friends.

My fiance and I got engaged at the Hotel Healdsburg. The staff were so excited for us and made us feel incredibly special. Every person working at the hotel was a pleasure to interact with, and I couldn't recommend staying at Hotel Healdsburg enough.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Healdsburg for 4 nights over the Christmas Holiday season. The hotel's location could not be any better, right off the beautiful Healdsburg town square (which was even more beautiful with all the holiday lights and decorations), and within walking distance of countless shops and restaurants. Our suite was beautiful, and the hotel offered all the amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel but with the intimate, cozy vibe of a boutique hotel. The service was exceptional--front desk, breakfast/bar crew, valet, concierge...but as a frequent traveler, I was particularly impressed by the housekeeping service and their meticulous attention to detail. Everything was wonderful, making our holiday getaway truly memorable and enjoyable. Will not hesitate to return at the earliest opportunity!

Disappointed in our stay here. The breakfast that was a delight pre Covid is now not provided at the same levels. Nothing but sweets. Also the hot water in the shower was inconsistent and not working well one day. Some staff were not friendly. The hotel looks tired with peeling paint and leaks in the stairwell. The stairs were always dirty.

Healdsburg is a fun weekend getaway and the Hotel Healdsburg is in an excellent location for walking, dining, and shopping. The amenities are nice and the hotel bar at happy hour is a good option for drinks and small bites.

Saturday's there is live Jazz at 6:30. The local Healdsburgers get there at 5pm for happy hour and stay until 7:30ish. It's very crowded, seats are saved with coats. Bar tenders save seats. My advice is to go after 7:30 or to just sit in a saved seat. Obviously, not all Healdsburgers are rude slobs. I'm sure most are quite nice and understand social etiquette.

This is a world class hotel. The arrival service was very warm and comforting. And fast. The rooms were hospital clean with superb amenities. The coffee machine worked perfectly on first try. The TV worked immediately and there were many, many stations. The apples and bottle of wine were a very nice touch. Thank you Hotel Healdsburg.

Great atmosphere with live music on Friday & Saturday nights and a wonderful restaurant for upscale dining. Location is excellent with plenty to do in the area and is close enough to a number of wonderful vineyards.

Very relaxing stay! Great location. Lobby area was a great place to relax and the breakfasts were very good. Very nice rooms and a staff that was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

Fine hotel in a good location but way too enjoying for what you get, which is a nice unremarkable hotel that doesn't go above and beyond and isn't worth the $1200/night we paid. Should be $500/night tops.

Upon arrival parking was ambiguous. We pulled up to the courtyard in the rain. While we weren't too worried about someone greeting us, the booking agent was emphatic about the complimentary valet, and an umbrella would have been a nice touch, for sure. The check in was easy enough and the front desk courteous & helpful. The room was unfortunately fairly unruly, while not outright 'dirty', was messy, pictures on the wall crooked, evidence of TP being recently used, coffee bar unorganized; nothing major, just not what you'd expect from the pedigree of Hotel Healdsburg. Our real disappointment came at 6:30AM the next day, in the way of a sewage treatment truck directly below our room cleaning out the piping below. We called the front desk to check on a timeline or a possible swap of rooms... something just to enjoy some peace and quiet (which was the purpose of our stay in the first place), but never received a call back. To make matters worse, around 7:15 the grounds crew of, ostensibly, Hotel Healdsburg, started with their 2-stroke gas blowers. By 7:30 we had our bags packed to head back home. Despite our feedback on what was clearly an awful experience, the front desk was rather ambivalent upon checkout— disappointing on all levels. My wife and I are understanding of circumstance outside the direct control of the hotel itself, but to pay over $600 just for, admittedly, a nice, comfy bed, is just not worth it.

Primo location on the square in downtown. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops and a short drive to top tier wine tastings. Beautiful, minimal aesthetic and very comfortable and cozy. the staff is smart, helpful and attentive. We've been here many times and will be back.

My best friend and I planned this weekday getaway a while back and were excited to stay here as we'd heard such great things about the hotel. While the hotel itself was nice (spacious room, lovely amenities, great location), the service was far below a hotel of this price and standard should be. We paid almost $1000 a night for a two-queen room, and given the 5-star rating of the hotel, expected service that was warm, welcoming, and accommodating. It was the opposite. When we checked in, we were barely greeted by the woman at the front desk. I asked her if our room had a balcony, as I know some of the two-queen rooms had one, and she said yes, it would either have a small or larger one but definitely some sort of a balcony. When we got into our room, we saw it didn't but decided to let it go. Later that evening, we went to the hotel bar for a drink and had to flag down the waitress to take our order, as she was very busy chatting with the bartender (loudly - we could hear their whole conversation). There were only two other people at the bar that evening, and they, too, had to wait a long time to be served and looked annoyed. It was as if the bartender and waitress were on a date and the four guests were just getting in the way of their conversation. At breakfast the next day, the service was even worse - the two waitresses were unfriendly and acted as if customers were a bother; their attitude was really off-putting. Small but weird detail: We asked for ketchup and they brought us tiny ketchup packets. We had to laugh that a hotel that charges this much can't invest in ketchup bottles. The next day, we went to the spa early for our appointments as we wanted to soak in the jacuzzi before our treatments. When we walked into the spa and said we would like to use the jacuzzi, the front desk woman said, "I don't know if it's working" before walking away to check, then came back and said, "Yeah, it's kind of warm." We stood there waiting for some sort of instruction (like where to put our stuff, where the changing rooms were, etc) but she did nothing else, so we wandered into the back and found the jacuzzi and just put our stuff down on the floor. After we were done, we had to ask her if they had lockers - and she finally took us back to the changing area with lockers. We had our treatments; mine was great but my friend's was marred by a very chatty facialist, who even gossipped to her about some drama with hotel staff and recent firings. Not the relaxing spa appointment she was seeking. On our last day, we asked if we could get a later checkout, and the woman at the front desk said we could do 1 pm (an hour later than the normal checkout). We said we'd take it, but later when we were walking by the front desk, the manager stopped us and told us that he could not accommodate this request as he needed to "turn the hotel" at noon as he had other people checking in. Keep in mind this was a Wednesday and we did not see more than 4 other guests in the entire hotel the whole time we were there - it was literally dead and it seemed odd that he could not give us one extra hour in our room. The cherry on top was that when we checked out, I flagged an unknown charge from the hotel that came up on my Amex (Amex sent me an email as I did not sign for the charge), and initially, the front desk woman said the spa must've inadvertently charged me for the spa treatments (which we asked to put charged to our room) - even though the total was not the same amount as the charge. When I asked her to check with the spa, she called them but then told me I needed to walk over and discuss it with them. I asked her why the spa would have my card on file as I never gave them the card, and she just kept insisting I go and sort it out with them. Finally the manager came over and had a completely different story - something about how the initial hold charge didn't cover our incidentals and how the hotel had to charge my card further to cover them...he was incredibly condescend

This was our 5th trip to "wine country". We have stayed in Napa, Sonoma and a beautiful hotel in the Russian River Valley from which we came into the cute town of Healdsburg for dinner at Valette. At the time, we commented that when we visited again, we would stay here. Healdsburg makes a great first impression and now we know it lives up to it's charm. Of all the places we have stayed, we prefer this to the others. The hotel itself was wonderful, and staying within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, shopping and wine tasting rooms was what made the trip so special. We took two full days to visit wineries with a driver, but the rest of the visit we spent in this charming town. We will definitely come back again. Morning walks through quaint neighborhoods, a beautiful town square surrounded by food, wine and great shopping, it really was the best of everything! The concierge service at the hotel was very helpful with bookings, finding a driving service, etc.

Our stay was perfect from top to bottom. We also appreciated the in-lobby wine tasting. The restaurants and spa exceeded our expectations. This was our first time staying at the property but will certainly be back.
