Kudos to Jason for making this such a relaxed & enjoyable experience. I wasn't staying at the Hotel Healdsburg but I was drawn to its quiet seating area where I could chill for a bit. Once the bar was open, I availed myself of a lime-ade with black cherry ... tasty and very refreshing. Later, I ordered the grilled shrimp tacos which hit the spot.
The Spirit Bar is in the lobby of hotel Healdsburg. It only has eight stools but it's a really cool bar in a great atmosphere and Fridays and Saturdays live jazz starts at 6:00. The bartender Jason is absolutely outstanding! He's charming clever witty and a very very good bartender. The food comes from Dry Creek kitchen and is absolutely spectacularly good! And I am a foodie and a former chef. I'm generally go once a week to enjoy this special place and I hery highly recommend...read full review
beautiful spot , hole in the wall but such a vibe! scenery, music, and bartender jason were great! Healdsburg spritz is a must try!!

Spirit Bar is a luxurious and wonderful place for a weekend escape, located in a great spot with attentive staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated, providing all the amenities one would expect from a 5-star hotel. The housekeeping service is impressive, paying attention to every detail to make the stay memorable. The mixologist, Jason, is known for making beautiful drinks, whether it's a slow night or a busy evening filled with jazz. Guests appreciate his amazing cocktails and warm hospitality. The clam chowder "a la minute" served with freshly baked focaccia bread is a favorite among regulars. Whether for a special occasion or a relaxing getaway, Spirit Bar comes highly recommended for a delightful experience.

The menu includes a range of drinks, from classic martinis and Manhattans to curated cocktails. Weekend music adds to the atmosphere. The sparse but delicious menu from Dry Creek Kitchen is complemented by the staff's excellence on all levels. While the music in the bar area can be too loud at times, the service is considered the best on the plaza. The dog-friendly policy allows guests to take their time enjoying the food.
