Not as good as I remembered. The squash soup I had to send back- way too much pepper as did my friend. The fish was ok. Pasta dish was excellent. Wait staff excellent

Fernando was our server and he was excellent. Knowledgeable, responsive, funny and willing to engage our table in an entertaining back and forth when appropriate. Trout, soup and onion appetizer were all awesome, pasta was good, burger was average. Ambiance and the staff made it. Automatic 20% service fee felt unnecessary, we're good tippers, but ok if that's necessary to have a livable wage for the outstanding staff!

A very charming and unique interior, bit off the beaten path of restaurants but not far from town square. Unique and delicious food choices.

Style over substance. Salads were good. Very fresh. Crispy chicken is tasty. Tikka masala should not be on the menu, it's bland, weird naan, chalky rice. Bucatini was fine. Asparagus was okay. Everything plated very nicely but not sold on concept for the price. Nice cocktails and great service.

Something seemed a bit off. Upon arriving we found out that our reservation was in Studio Barndiva not the main restaurant, which was not what I believe we booked. The food was good and the service was excellent. The menu seemed a little chaotic and disorganized. Overall, we had a nice meal, but it didn't live up to the expectations we had based on friends and family who had been there before.

We absolutely loved our night out at Barndiva, the dinner was fantastic, from the cocktails to the desert, I can't wait to go back.

My mom and I visited Healdsburg for the 1st time for her birthday, and Barndiva was our first dinner. It had been recommended by friends so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, expectations were far from met. It took a minute for us to get greeted at the door, which was fine but not ideal for such a nice place. Once we were sat it took so long for our waitress to come over I thought she might not know we were there. I will say, our waitress was incredibly nice, but also incredibly inattentive. I am a millennial and do not like to complain or bother because I worked in the service industry for a long time. Even by my standards, it was not acceptable. The original plan was to get a glass of white wine with apps and a glass of red with entrees. However, our apps came before the white wine did and then literally everything came all at once. There was no pacing or coursing at all. We got goat cheese croquettes, garden salad, heirloom tomato salad, and bucatini and they all came literally at the same time maybe 5 minutes after ordering. The heirloom tomato salad advertises "whipped burrata" which was absolutely non-existent and the whole thing was flavorless, even for tomato lovers like us. The pasta was super flavorful, rich, and delicious but a portion large enough for a 2 year old only, not a single grown adult, let alone for sharing. And it was $30. The croquettes were great and the garden salad was good too, just kind of standard. Since everything was rushed and served at once, we opted out of the red wine and had no chance to order it anyway. The restaurant knew we were there to celebrate a birthday but did not offer dessert or anything at all. After all that, we waited for the check for at least 20 minutes. Overall, this place has a good reputation and we were super excited and then super let us down. It seems maybe a bit out of date? Or like they prioritized other tables or guest experience over us? This was our least favorite meal experience in Healdsburg by far.

We were promptly greeted, seated and our server was quick to welcome us. Our food was served in a reasonable amount of time and the server checked to see all was well. Though the food was delicious as it always is when we have eaten at Barndiva, we felt the pricing was too high for the amount of food received. The Bucatini Pasta portion was exceptionally small despite the large plate.

Limited menu, great service. Food tasted average, I was expecting better since it had a Michelin rating on its door.

The service was pleasant. The food was too expensive for what we got! Steak was overdone when we asked for medium rare. The pasta was good but the portion was very tiny. The croquettes were also over priced and just a sample for one person....not too share. If you do come, eat before you do

This was our first time dining at Barndiva in this newer format. The original Barndiva used to be my favorite restaurant and I have missed it greatly. I'm still not sure why they switched from the pretty side of the restaurant to the current side. The outside garden is very nice, much nicer than sitting inside. The food was very good with the fresh peach croustade being outstanding! The menu is a bit limited so if you have any dietary restrictions or are a picky eater, I would definitely check it before you go. It was a wonderful evening and we will definitely be back, hopefully while they're still making the peach croustade!

We love Barndiva, it's been one of our favorites for years. Love the ambiance, service is always impeccable. The goat cheese croquettes are amazing (worth going there for on their own). Spouse enjoyed the hamburger, but fries were a bit mixed (some slightly soggy and some crisp). I ordered the bucatini, which was over-seasoned with garlic. They're always good about accommodating individual tastes though, if possible, so next time will ask beforehand if the garlic can be dialed down.

menu limited dishes unremarkable We have eaten at Barndiva every year over 5 trips to area. Seems to have come down a notch or two from special to average .

Very good food in a nice outdoor setting. Some portions were small, not the hamburger! Pricey, but a fun evening .

We were excited to try Barndiva, but unfortunately ended up disappointed. The food was ok, but not worth the price ($22 for a side of fries is just ridiculous). Service was very lackluster and the space felt like we were eating in an antique store... just odd.
