We ordered charcuterie but it was so salty that no one at the table was happy with it but the taste of the rest of our food was very good. Wine service was sloppy.

Two of us had the black cod, 1 had the pork and 1 had the squash entree. All were delicious! The salad and pumpkin soup were good. The dessert was delicious - very tasty “snickers bar” and ice cream. Kind of wish there had been more ice cream. All of the staff were attentive. We sat inside; it was noisy but overall the dining experience was excellent. The black cod is what I had and I really loved it! I have never been disappointed in Valette!

Share items were only for two, okay if you know, server did not say, app delicious and entree festive looking and tasty. Nice wine list all digital. Desserts were excellant.

Our order (of roasted cod and tuna poke) was delivered within 8 minutes of ordering, which seems very odd/too quick. The cod was raw in the middle. The staff didn't seem too apologetic when we sent it back nor when they brought it back out. They took the existing cod, which we had cut into, and just reheated/recooked it. Still was not great and surprising that a restaurant like this wouldn't have just started over. No great apologies were made until they bought us dessert at the end. We would have rather had a nice, properly cooked entree. The entire service seemed rushed - like a factory thruput - than a warm, inviting restaurant. We will give it another try since our friends love it so, but not a great first impression for us unfortunately.

Catherine and I had a wonderful dinner, eating outside, with my sister, Sharon, at this wonderful restaurant. We also got a chance to meet it’s owner, Bob Valette, who was gracious and welcoming. I ordered the charcuterie platter, which is offered for the table, and everyone enjoyed the meats, cheeses and mustards on the board. Both of the ladies chose the soup special: Roasted Parsnip Velouté Soup, with Manuel Reyes Figs, Brown Butter Curls, which they enjoyed. I chose the duck entrée, and it was delightful. Sharon chose a ravioli-like pasta dish with a Bolognese sauce, which she loved. And Catherine opted for the Squash Blossom platter. Sharon enjoyed a dessert, although we don’t remember what it was. It was a lovely meal, and I recommend Valette!

We were seated in a considerate timely manner at a very good table. Our order was taken when we were ready, we received a practical wine recommendation that suited us, the food presentation was delightful and the food was delicious. We ordered the crispy skin black cod and wished the skin had been crispier, but it was delicious.
