This is a must-do while in Healdsburg!!!! We both had the Chef's Trust Me 5- course meal..one of the best meals in recent memory! We'll be going again and again ...adding the wine pairing next time! Terrific waitstaff, so knowledgeable! Now my number 1 favorite restaurant!! Trust me...I trust them!! Go there!

We had a delicious meal out at Valette's outdoor patio. The noise level was much lower than in the main dining room and there were plenty of heat lamps. Jacob took exceptional care of us. He gave us a bit of history about the restaurant and later we heard more stories from the charming Bob Valette. The food was all very good. Don't miss out on the scallop en croute, although all the dishes were perfect, the scallops really stand out. Save some room for the it's not a snickers bar. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our food but it was average and the service was too. We were told bread was coming out and after 15 minutes, we prompted the server again and it arrived after a short wait. The wine list was not all that strong. We had hoped for a nicer experience as the reviews on line were strong. It is a nice atmosphere.

My husband and I visited Valette for the first time after several recommendations. We are new residents to Healdsburg. This is a very special place. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately after having a choice of which table we preferred. The staff was excellent and attentive to our needs. The wine was outstanding. And the food was even more so!! I can not recommend Valette enough from start to finish!

On a cold winter night we were perfectly comfortable on the patio. Definitely need to book, probably a few days in advance. In our opinion one of the better dining experiences in Healdsburg (our second visit)

It was a very busy new years eve. Beautiful restaurant, wonderful sights and smells, elegant delicious food. Service was very quick and all of the staff were extremely pleasant. It was a preset menu and we were delighted with almost every course. The beef wellington was a bit tough but we are full by then and it didn't matter. I highly recommend Valette, we live in town and eat there regularly.

Late December 2025 French American fusion fine dining restaurant within the heart of the Healdsburg town.
Decided to spend my wife's birthday 🎂 celebration 🍾 ✨️ here and they graciously made it a memorable night for our family. From the personalized menu, card, and warm greetings from the staff and the 3rd generation owner Mr Valette we were very much overwhelmed by the hospitality and care that was provided.
Of equal mention is the food which definitely delivered professional standards and is meticulously deliberate in the balance of flavors and ingredients. The menu is very well constructed and pairs well with all the recommendations from our head waiter. Arguably the most notable duck dish we have had in this region. 😋 Their scallops are also imaginative as is their sub menu selection of shared dishes. Cocktail 🍸 are equally well crafted
Their service is integral to the whole dining 🍽 experience and their staff was definitely up to par as the secret ingredient.
The place harkens back to the depression era which was once started as a bakery and has gone through four generations up to its present evolution to a fine dining establishment. Some of its rustic historical charm still can be keenly felt in the furnishings and large panel mirror.
One does still feel the French provincial influences from the original migrant owners
Truly a culinary gem 💎 worth returning to
