It's a really old bar here in town, it's an institution of Hemet. Thanksgiving and Christmas is the time of year to go there, as all the ppl who have moved away return, and usually venture out after spending time with their families, and need a little away time from it all. It's almost like a unofficial class reunion. Chappies is a not a class establishment, but it is a very good place to get a stiff cocktail at a not breaking the bank price, and feel comfortable when your there.

Damn crazy to think I can’t even drink a beer in my hometown bar, walked in November 1st at night to order a drink, and as I was about to get served some younger white lady who is also a bartender but was not on her shift went up to the bartender who was working and straight up said this man which is me cannot be served, and as I was leaving she had told me to go back to my country and your a dirty WET you know what very unacceptable and you will not be done hearing from me

i’ve been a customer at chappies however i encountered one of the rudest bar tenders there named Coley. She makes you wait for like 15 minutes at the bar while she takes care of the group of people not even sitting at the bar. she told me to go order at her “well” w the group of people there but there’s no reason to give up my seat at the actual bar area. she got offended when i asked can i order my drink bc it’s ridiculous to wait 15 minutes to ORDER for my first drink. she got offended and assumed i gave her attitude. she said i was in her house and there’s 2 doors to exit and finally she kicked us out. She is too emotional and cannot multitask which is not my fault. i only make sure Anthony is there and Katelyn is a good bartender too but not coley. don’t waste ur time going in there when she’s there.

@Kecia Stewart
you weren’t there. why would i be in a bar with no ID? they checked it at the entrance and coley never asked to see our ID again to verify so don’t get the story mixed up when you clearly were not there.

@Breana Figueroa - Coley was doing her job. You can't be in a bar with no ID, which you did not have or present.

All the bartenders are awesome! This is our favorite bar.

I come in here often and everytime this bartender comes in said his name was Cal he's a control freak on the music everytime he cuts the jukebox off its a bar and it's your job absolutely will not stay when he comes in he acts like he owns the brand if he does hrs terrible at it I tip 10 on every drink he'll never know and you'll lose business every time he's in ther I assure you he wasn't rude just arrogant and not a good bartender basically ruins the atmosphere when he comes is cause he wants to change it to his liking as soon as he walks in no cool I pay for lots of music everywhere I go and no other bartender in ther act like that they're all awesome

Diviest or dive bars in the IE area. Was there Friday night and Saturday afternoon, with Brad providing us with some exceptional bartending service. Worth the visit and worth sitting down for a couple hours of drinks. So many friendly people present and nothing but good times.

Fun fact: Zach Bryan came here to film scenes for his “Great American Bar Scene” album, but beyond that this place is full of friendly people from the great city of Hemet trying to have a good time.

If you get drunk enough and leave your wallet when you come back the $700 cash will be gone because the bar tenders will split your cash in your wallet hoping you don't come back got my wallet back but not the cash in it

A traditional hole in a wall bar, a place that you can chill at after a long day or week to kick back and relax. Drinks are at a very reasonable price. You'll feel welcomed and have others around you become friends.
