We were only visitors to Hemet, but I knew I wanted to go to Chappies's as soon as I saw the sign. Great place, the atmosphere was very chill and welcoming. So nice to see a non-Microsoft/Google phony estsblishment.

Chappies is the epitome of a great local bar. The service is excellent, the prices are great and the people on both sides of the bar are approachable and friendly. My favorite "watering hole" in the area!

This place is absolutely terrible! The service is horrible and the bartenders mad dog you for no apparent reason, like I’m sorry that I interrupted you from your 10 minute conversation so I can get another beer. This place is a perfect place if you want to get shot! Towards the end of the night a fight broke out and someone started shooting, over served drunken people making smart decisions. Stay far away from this place!!!!!!

It's gotten better in recent years. Not as much a biker bar as it used to be. They have bands on the weekends sometimes but the best night to go is Thursday night. They have a really good DJ after 9pm who caters to the 20 and 30 year old crowd and plays a lot of hip hop and party music. Good place for cheap drinks and fun times!
