They have really fun karaoke and great live entertainment! Monday nights they host karaoke, and the KJ hosts music trivia tournament and gives away free gifts (like instruments, concert tickets, gift cards, makeup & more) from local sponsors. They have line dancing and live bands, and something exciting happens every night of the week. Must come!

Open mike at Derby's could be a great thing if the organizer was organized and didn't rush the performers. Carrying a clip just doesn't cut it. Be prepared to be interrogated by the peanut gallery in the crowd for no reason. Otherwise, there is potential for the event to be something special...maybe.
