El Zarape Mexican Restaurant

We had a meeting in Hemet. Stopped by El Zarape's after as a friend recommended it. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great but the best of all was the service. Enrique was incredible. He went above and beyond for us. It was such a great experience with Enrique! Thank you for being so amazing. I managed IN-N-Out Burger for 11 years so it's rare that I see that same kind of service.

We had Tina, she was great. Food was good. Prices where fair. Only thing I would do differently is have better chips. They chips where hard and plain. But service and our meals where great 👍

Great place to eat with friends and family, staff is friendly and he food is really good. I recommend that you visit them on Tuesday when they have their taco specials. The carnitas taco and the shrimp bajar taco are what I always get, try them and you will see why.

Went to El Zarape on a recommendation. I went with my wife, her sisters, 1 husband & their grandma. Total of 6.

The feedback on the food was the fajitas were good, the shrimp salad was good, the guacamole bowl was good. I had two chicken tacos & they were very average.

Let's get to the service. It was horrible. We continually had to ask for refills. Our waitress actually walked away from our table while we had a question on the Senior menu. She left our table & went to talk to a couple of people she obviously knew, came back in like 5 mins with the answer to our simple question. That was the rudest service I've ever had. I always start my experience with a 20% or higher tip in mind, she definitely did not get that from me.

The food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The portions were adequate for the price.

The interior environment was nice. But I agree with another reviewer, this isn't authentic Mexican food.

Our waitress was rude. Wouldn't refill drinks. Didn't wait til we were done to give us the check. Wouldn't refill chips. The portions are small.

I love this place! Yolanda and Enrique have amazing work ethics and provide phenomenal customer service.
I've wanted to order dessert for years here. Finally DID IT! Deep Fried Ice Cream is... OMG! Decadent!
