How frustrated it is when you call your order in and they tell you it's going to be ready at seven and they have you waiting inside the restaurant for 45 minutes for your order to be completed. This is very very wrong. Worst customer service I have seen in ears. I would never recommend this place. Why even call in your ordering early Hemet people don't place your order here cause it won't be ready when they have you waiting like an idiot for your food for almost 45 minutes. Where sushi place I have seen people stay away from this place. Why waste your time to call in earlier order to pick up it won't be ready

Samurai sushi is a decent offering for the area. Same owners as San Chome. Both good for cocktails and maki.

The food as always is good, but the atmosphere has changed. Now the music is very loud and the staff won't turn it down making it impossible to have a conversation over your meal.

One star is still too high a rating. We ate there last night with a large group of people, (and, yes, we had a reservation; so there should not have been a problem); the service and food was awful. The ”Manager” was totally indifferent. Our server tried to do the best as she could under this stressful situation. I recommend you avoid this place.
15 of my friends went there for New Years Eve. I made a reservation in person with the manager three weeks ahead...she said it would be all good....well...let me start with ordering ...waitress started at the front of the long table where I was sitting across from and next to me...they ordered there appetizer and their meal at the same time....well...they got there appetizer but never their meals....meanwhile tables behind us turned over three times and they had their meals...the end of our long table got their meals and they came in last...but the two at the front of the table did not.. they got upset and left..I was kinda ashamed what was happening...meanwhile the manager never never came to us to apologize to me and to the others about their service. LAST YEAR we went to San Chome but there were closed on Sunday ...so since I heard they are related I figured all good...but to my disappointment it was not like San Chome.....I know I will never go to this restaurant and neither will the other 14 people. Also the food was nowhere like San Chome...

Our group of 15 made reservations 3 weeks ago for New Year's Eve. The management apparently forgot to plan the cook staff accordingly. Two people in our group only got the appetizers they ordered, but not the main meal. It took 1 1/2 hours from ordering to the last person getting their meal, by then the first of our group was done eating. Ridiculous!! Management never even can to our group and attempted to apologize. our poor server was left trying to deal with people getting upset. It's managements fault 100%. in the mean time while we are all eating to be served at a snails pace some of the other table had turned over 3 times. Not good!! The last to get served asked for a to go box right away, because everyone was ready to leave by then. Not one person in our group will be back!!!! BYE BYE SAMUARI!

Great food, good pricing. Not cheap but not overly expensive. Nice ambiance, low lighting and classical modern music playing and tv screens with sports playing at the sushi bar area. It's usually busy when we come here and somehow get lucky to get sat right away or maybe a 5-10 min wait. I don't like to leave bad reviews, but we have noticed since our last visit earlier this year service has gone down. Our waitress was not that nice seemed almost annoyed with being a waitress, and was very slow. I have had take out from here before as well and can say it is very good for takeout as well... I would give 5 stars but service needs to be a little bit better..
