If I could give zero stars I would.. I have tried this Starbucks since Safeway opened but it has just become disappointing. I don't know if they need a new supervisor in the morning because it seems that she is scaring all the good workers away. They need to get new training because it is not the customers job to let them know what should be charged and what shouldn't be charged. Also why does the customer have to tell the barista that heavy cream only isn't the cold foam recipe. I am never returning again. This location is horrible stay away

It is true what some of my fellow Yelpers are saying: service is slow because they are understaffed. Case in point: there was only one person (ONE!) taking orders, making the drinks and cleaning up. So, yeah. Expect a delay. But that's not her fault. That's a management issue. But despite this, she did her best and took the job like a pro. DRINK: 5. My iced matcha latte was perfect.SERVICE: 5. The server was working solo but did what she could. Gotta commend her for handling it as best as she did. VALUE: 3. Fair. PARKING: Located inside Safeway. Private lot shared with a couple of other spots. Not an issue. OVERALL: 4.25. Located inside Safeway, if you have the need to make a grocery run AND have your caffeine fix, this is your spot!

This location is sooo slow . Stay clear . The location manager needs to step up his game and hire more folks to cover the door dash orders , mobile orders and the in coming customersI blame the manager

This Starbucks has definitely gone down hill since moving back to Hercules. I always have some hope for when I place an order, but they always disappoint. Just placed an order at 16:30, (a non rush hour time), with estimated pick up time at 16:38 and received order at 16:50. 1. They seem to be understaffed. I always feel bad for the solo barista that is not only making all the drinks, but also doing their best to accommodate in store orders. Where are their colleagues?! Oh, they're in the back talking or on the side line talking waiting to clock in or clock out..2. The staff do not seem happy to be working there at all. They don't acknowledge the customers walking in or in line to inform customers that they will be with them in a moment. 3. Add about 10-15 minutes to your online order. 4. The place is always pretty dirty later in the day. They don't have time to pick up around the sitting area because there is only one barista working. Please hire more and new folks. Might need to let go of some people. Hire new management to accommodate staff needs in which will lead to efficient and excellent customer service. This Starbucks definitely gets busy because it's the main one in Hercules.

The first Starbucks in Hercules before they open one on Willow. This doesn't have a drive thru but it does have plenty of parking. Here is what funny about having a Starbucks in Hercules...they're both next to a burger place and gas station.What do I like about this particular location...everyone knows me. It's like I was Norm from Cheers.The service at this particular location is good. They have mistaken my order but I forgave them. I have done the order through the app and I had to wait for a few more minutes from the time it was due but I didn't care because I was going to dine inside the place anyways.

I go here for random treat myself days. Their coffee is low quality with high price. The workers are friendly and I love the overall vibe to the Starbucks.

I like the outdoor seating at this Starbucks location, and I was happy with the two mobile orders I picked up there. There is a bus stop close by which is good.
