My experience here was so good I had to share after hearing some mixed reviews. This was a random stop my husband and I decided make after running errands. I am so happy we did, the food was great, service staff are very kind. We ordered the Ahi Tuna and Avocado Tartar as a starter. My husband ordered the steak frites and I ordered shrimp scampi and ended with the creme brulee. Everything was phenomenal. I was so sad because I accidently left the rest of my scampi at the restaurant when I was leaving! it was so good I had wanted to take the other half home, anyways new favorite spot in Lake County. 100% suggest for a date night.

Amazing food, nice staff and a cool golf resort with a huge building that looks new!!!

People really love to hate on the Greenview and there's a large percentage of people that are just in general unhappy that this new restaurant was built, so take the reviews with a grain of salt. We are grateful that Greenview is here to serve our community and can see that they continue to take feedback constructively and are striving to continue to improve. The bartenders and servers are generally great and while we've had a bad interaction or two overall we appreciate everyone we come in contact with. The food sometimes can be a miss but we appreciate that they are continuing to make additions and improvements to the menu based on the feedback they receive. We are also grateful for the events and in particular the golf and winemaker dinner's they've been adding to the lineup which just helps further foster the sense of community.

Taco tues is a disappointment! Low warm boring food! Cold chips, boring I guess salsa? Not considering a return! Taco Bell has a better menu!

We go to Greenview roughly once a week. The staff are all very friendly and greet us like old friends which is great. The food relatively consistent. I love the lemon rosemary chicken, their mashed potatoes, and grits are all delicious. My husband frequently gets the burger and the wings which he really loves, although he does wish they offered regular buffalo sauce for the wings on a regular basis, not just on Monday night football. I love the modern style of the place. They remodeled beautifully. I wish the prices were more reasonable, or maybe have more small plate options so the locals can afford to frequent there. Also the hour are confusing and inconsistent. I was so excited that they had karaoke night, but then they changed it to being twice a month, once on a Thursday and once on a Friday, and I can't keep track of which days they are so I don't go anymore. Couldn't it just be every other Thursday to make it less confusing? I just wish things would be more consistent.

Yuck!! pretty much says it all... We brough 2 bottles of Rose from local winery Our waitress seamed just generally annoyed.. Introduced her self as Christine and said ( I'll have to charge you a corkage fee) I said that's fine but its local and we will order a in house bottle if that will wave the fee? A: No, well still charge you.. Q: How's the salmon? was it previously frozen or local? A: I dunno, I just know when the delivery comes in? Q: Is there someone who would know? A: No I ordered the Shrimp scampi with fettuccini in tomatoe caper sauce Instead it came with heavy cream sauce & over cooked pasta We ordered calamari , was okay just very stingy if there are more than 4 ppl I would suggest getting 2 orders .. We asked for a ice bucket for the wine and she was NOT thrilled with the request and said it will take a while I'm busy trying to get your orders together.. Just kind of unpleasant

last night I ordered two fish and chips dinners to go. in the past I loved the fish and chips but what I got last night it looked like they got the fish from Grocery Outlet frozen food section. The fish was not the beer battered filets as in the past, but pressed fished pieces. and they had the nerve to charge 25.00 per order. Sadly this is not the first time I've been disappointed with the food since the new place opened.

The Greenview is a really nice venue with good food that is reasonably priced. I also hope to host an event there soon. Beautiful grounds too.

worst Calamari Fitti I ever had. The first order was unedible and they offered to make a new one which ended up just as bad. How difficult is it to fry already breaded calamari out of a bag? The mashed potatoes and chicken were gross, the presentation was not appetizing but disgusting. We will NEVER EVER go back. The waiter was lovely and I felt bad for her. What ambience??? It felt like we were in an institutionalized setting, like a hospital or government cafeteria. Everything looked, cheap, cheap. How can a restaurant like that survive? Turns out the Hidden Valley house owners are subsidizing the restaurant.

As an owner of a home in HV who resides elsewhere I couldn’t wait to check out the new facility. I found it to be beautiful, clean and accommodating- smaller dining room, separate bar and a banquet space. Only three tables were occupied at 7:30 pmOn Thursday but the bar with karaoke was hopping.Just like others writing reviews here we waited a while to be seated while at least four staff members walked by without acknowledging us. We were seated close to the fireplace and the restaurant looked very nice. The menu selection is decent- four seafood appetizers maybe an overkill but it’s ok.We got two appetizers, two main courses and two desserts. Food was very mediocre- shrimp being the best one. Cheesecake was not good at all.Prices are very high.Service was strange with the waitress coming back to get an order within minutes of seating us and then not coming back for a while. Overall a pricey experience of a medium quality.

Epic Fail…. Had lunch yesterday and ordered the BBQ burger, with Onions rings. Some of the BEST onion rings, I’ve ever had. The Burger was good too. Then I finished it off with the crème brûlée, again AMAZING! Epic fail, was I Forgot to take photos, but trust me the plates were empty. Iced tea was just ok.

I had high hopes after the expensive rebuild but the food is still inconsistent and definitely not worth the price. Atmosphere is "ok" but poorly laid out and it is incredibly loud. Service is ok. An In/Out Burger place would have been 100% better and it would have likely made a profit vs being a financial drain on the Community. I'll happily travel over the mtn for much better food - can't recommend.
