Lovely people working here who put together our sandwiches super fast. I got the J Stilly and it was one of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had!

Everyone here is so nice the food is absolutely superb. It's not like I can go there every day because it's not "working class prices", but oh my gosh, so delicious

Went on a Monday - quick and friendly service, plenty of comfortable seating, cute tile, kinda weird art, and a DELICIOUS spicy p chicken sandwich good god

with tax and tip it came out to $20 for just my sandwich, which is pretty steep and I wish it wasn’t so expensive

Had the Lorri Sub & meatballs. Sub was large and was able to easily split it. Great food, complex flavor profiles, and textures worked perfectly together.

Lots of menu items.

I guess they don’t want customers because I stood at the counter while the staff chit chatted and Ignored me. I waited for a bit but they were so clueless I just walked out. 11am Oct 29.

Another overpriced place gentrifying the neighborhood with prices that the original community cannot afford. They are catering to white people who can pay $20+ for a sandwich. Get out of Highland Park and go to the west side where you belong. Plus your food isn’t worth the money.

Food is incredibly mid and $18+ for a sandwich. Go to the eagle rock Italian deli and support a much better small business

They charge $16 for a sandwich when bay cities is still at $13. Online pickups default to 15% tip. For that price point I expect: 1) them to actually update when an order is ready sometimes it’s 15 mins and I come late so my food is cold. Sometimes it’s 1 hr 15 and im waiting a long time 2) have a dedicated pickup line. often I’m waiting in line behind someone who needs the whole menu explained to them while double parked because its on a super busy street.

also once your order is ready they don’t even call your name had to tell them I saw it on the shelf and ask for a bag and napkins (which they don’t normally give by default)

Never have I ever had an Italian sub in NJ that included muenster cheese or any type of aioli. The bread is delicious but it's a bit too hard for a sandwich. Allegedly contained vinegar but I didn't smell or taste it.

They'd probably save money and get more smiles if they went with a softer roll, provolone, plenty of oil and vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper.
