The food here is, "To Die For". It's surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because the service is terrible. I've had better service at FastFood Restaurants. Don't bother trying to call the restaurant to place an order because apparently they are way too busy to answer the phone (at least that's what I was told when I had no other choice but to go to the restaurant, with one customer, to place an order). On top of that, when I went into the restaurant it took a good 10 mins before someone finally saw me. So, bottom line, Service sucks, but Food is beyond belief good ?

Would not recommend eating here. My family of 4 went here for dinner. despite the negative reviews we figured we would give it a try. We were wrong... Al though we were seated right away, and server greeted us quickly there was only 1 other table in there.

We ordered an app which came quickly, we ordered a child's spaghetti plate and mentioned our 2 kids would share the plate. personal opinion, as a waitress if you know your portions are small and could not feed 2 you should mention it. While they brought the kids spaghetti out I asked to order a second plate since it was not enough to share.. My husband ordered the MOB RISSOTO, yes, I know it is seafood, but the seafood taste was overwhelming. No amount of salt or pepper helped. but he tried to eat it. I ordered the tortellini magia simple dish with mushrooms. As soon as the waitress placed in in front of me the smell of seafood overtook me. I whole heartedly believe the boiled the tortellini's in the same pot as the other seafood. it was disgusting. thankfully I do not have a seafood allergy as it was that bad. The dish tasted awful. Our waitress did not come back to check on us, she stood around the corner chatting with another coworker. When she finally did come back after we had all slide our plates away from us, I informed her of the tortellini dish being gross and asked to send it back or it we could take it off the bill since I only had a bite or 2. No apology was given she said ok... brought us our bill and a to go box...The tortellini dish was still on there. When I tried to get her attention, she turned her back to me.

I was very frustrated. our waitress nor the other one paid any attention to us. I felt they ignored me and turned the back on purpose. my husband paid the bill and left no tip. $115 for disgusting food. I tired calling back the following days to speak with a manager. 4 different times I called back on different days to get the same story. Manager is in a meeting; oh manager is not in please try back around 5.. I tried leaving a message for a manager to call me back and was told manager is busy and might not get back to you.

Very disappointed in this place, as Hollister is a small town with limited restaurants as it is. WOULD NOT GO BACK OR RECOMMEND.

Save yourself some money make tortellini's at home.

Did a take out of the margherita pizza, was just ok. Wish the crust was homemade, it was a premade one. Not sure what kind of fresh mozzarella it was, but usually it is white, but this mozzarella didn't look like the real fresh kind. Could've used more basil. Just my own opinion.

The mashed potatoes are good, bread and bruschetta was amazing. My son didn’t care for the pizza. Other son enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo. Husband ordered the rib eye and the quality of the meat was not good. The New York steak was very good, the filet Mignon was ehh. Calamari was over cooked. My teenage sons loved the Huge picture on the wall of the beautiful lady at our table. She was staring at us the whole time. lol
$300 on Mother’s Day dinner and left most of it.

My family and I decided to go to the Capo Signora restaurant and to our surprise we were served by the same person who a few months ago came to Los Cuates Restaurante, taking out all his employees and clients as if we were animals. I was a client who was present that day, my family and I will not return because of her appearance, her attitude, God bless her, I hope her attitude changes in her heart…. and I appreciate you, pretty lady, despite everything that is happening. God bless you, I am sorry for expressing myself about this person "Juana Cerda" who all of us at Hollister know her,,,, My respects to your other very pretty employees, very kind and with a lot of personality .

I do not recommend ordering pizza from here. Ordered a pizza Margarita that was super small and flavorless and over $16.00 with tax.

Overpriced. Portions are small. Food is bland and dry. Waitress wears yoga pants and part of her belly was showing already. Waitress was not trained right eg gave us coffee no cutlery, we mixed our creamer with a straw, forgot the ice tea well after my son finished his meal. Music is too loud. Italian music for breakfast is annoying. Go to Heidy’s or Country Rose.

To the management and ownership,As frequent patrons of this establishment, my family of six decided to dine here tonight.Upon placing our order, the dishes were promptly served. However, our experience took a turn for the worse when we discovered that five out of six dishes were excessively salty, rendering them nearly inedible. We brought this issue to the attention of our server and promptly left.I'm uncertain if there have been changes in the kitchen staff, but this matter requires immediate attention from the ownership. While this place has been enjoyable in the past, our recent experience has left us hesitant to return.

Yummy. Stopped in during off hours after spending the day in the Pinnacles. We were sat immediately and away from the other table that was already there. The service was great. She listened and was polite. The food came out quickly, esp the appetizers. Good portions and tasty ingredients.
