Delicious pan dolce. Great mexican bakery with a lot of tradition. My family and I know many others that make the dive from San Jose for this tasty treat.

The Menudo is the best I have tried so far in the US, I also tried the rajas tamales with cheese and they were delicious; but my favorite was the bread with spinach filling, it was fresh and super delicious.

When an American comes in it would be nice to be helped by the American lady that works there. Not everyone that comes in speaks Spanish, it’s not Mexico.

Best shells and horns ever
Hours posted on door say 9pm and online 8:45. My husband drove from San Jose to make it 5-10 min before 8:45 and the doors were already locked and the employees refused to acknowledge him. This is the 3rd time we go when it’s supposed to be open and it’s closed.

I love El Nopal Bakery! The pan dulce is so fresh, tasty and affordable. It's my go to place whenever I crave sweets. Or bread, or sweet-breads!I love the fresh flour and corn tortillas too! It doesn't get any better than that! ?

Excelent service
I love El Nopal! It's a staple in Hollister than I have gone to since I was a little kid. Prices are more than reasonable and always fresh.Just be aware, they only take cash so make sure to have some on hand when you go.If you're looking for an excellent Panderia, this is one of my favorites!
