Leal Vineyards and Winery

We visited this winery with genuine excitement for our first time, as we were considering it as a potential venue for our wedding. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing from the start. When we walked in, we were not greeted at all. The staff member did not ask if we had a reservation or even welcome us. The very first words from the staff member when I approached the counter were that our tasting would have to be rushed because the winery was closing at 4:00 p.m., and that they typically do not seat tastings within an hour of closing.

This was confusing and frustrating, especially since we had made a reservation online for 3 pm. If this policy is in place, a simple phone call or email beforehand could have saved us the surprise and disappointment. Not once during our visit were we asked if it was our first time or engaged with in any meaningful way. The entire time it felt as though we were a burden rather than valued guests.

Despite the lack of hospitality, we still purchased a bottle of wine and showed our respect to the staff.
The lack of warmth and communication left us feeling unappreciated and unwelcome.

We hope the winery takes this feedback seriously, as a warm greeting and better communication would make a huge difference in creating the kind of experience that keeps guests excited to return or even celebrate life’s biggest milestones here.

I recently had the chance to film a wedding at Leal Vineyards and Winery, and it was such a beautiful experience. The grounds are expansive and incredibly photogenic, lush vineyards, scenic hills, and multiple ceremony and reception options that all feel thoughtfully designed. The on-site hacienda and getting-ready spaces have great natural light, which are perfect for filming prep moments. What stood out most to me was how well the venue is set up to keep the day flowing smoothly, with everything conveniently located but spaced out enough to create a real sense of atmosphere. If you’re looking for a wine country wedding venue that blends elegance with a relaxed feel, this place is definitely worth a visit.

My only disappointment are the hours for their tasting space. It leaves very little room for visiting travelers as the days/times are extremely limited. Would’ve loved to experience this beautiful venue

The wife and I had an amazing evening at the Cinco de Mayo Event the staff was amazing the food was delicious and the music/band was great. I highly recommend you check out an upcoming event. Special thank you to Frank and his staff

Visited for a wedding and was met with the most gorgeous setting, beautiful dinner and kind and efficient staff! Some of the best wedding food we've had!

Amazing venue for a wedding. They have a house on site for the wedding party to stay in as well. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone thinking about it.

Place is beautiful, Awsome place for my nephews wedding

We came here several years ago with our car club to sample their wines and enjoy the beautiful grounds with our picnic lunches. We made arrangements to do the same last week-end. Upon our arrival it took the woman at the counter more than 10 minutes to even acknowledge my existence. We were then told we needed to purchase at least $300 worth of wine before we could even go up to where there are tables to enjoy our picnics. It seems this business has become just a wedding venue. We will not be coming back. Their wines are not that good and their customer service is non-existent.
