I was working in the area and went to this spot because of the Yelp reviews. I ordered 5 tacos (asada, pastor, pollo) and a coke. Total was over $20. All the tacos were very dry and small with bland taste. Having 2 tortillas on each taco doesn't help. In fact, it makes it even dryer, and there isn't enough meat to justify a 2nd tortilla. $3 and up per taco is a rip-off due to the quantity and the quality. Very disappointing.

While everyone says it was good, we gave it a try and it turned out the food was very dried. We had taco Al pastor and chicken nachos. It was disappointing and will not likely return. Plus, the language barrier was also a part of the problem. Perhaps they need a specialist to go over and help give them suggestions on things that needs attention. Who knows it can improve from there onward.

Was in Hollister over the weekend for a baseball tournament... looked on Yelp and saw Metro with somewhat decent ratings, so decided to check it out.True rating is about a 2.5Pros- the lady at the counter who took our order was very friendly. There was a language barrier, but we were able to figure things out. She was trying to tell me their chicken was spicy- I can't eat spicy, so that was very helpful and appreciated. Cons- the food was bland and quite dry. We ordered 4 carne asada tacos as well as their super nachos, also with carne asada. I was planning to order 1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak, but went with all steak once we figured out what the lady was trying to tell me! Anyway, we literally squeezed all the juice out of the limes. It helped a bit, but the dryness of the food and the lack of flavor was still there. To be fair, if I could have used their salsas, it might have helped with both lack of flavor and dryness even more, but both were pretty spicy! Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing, but both my son and I had the same reaction to both of the items. No pictures, left my phone in the car.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It's a tiny little space next to the Dominos so you have to be intentional about visiting, but I assure you that you won't want to pass this place over! Wish this place was a chain restaurant.Walking in we were greeted by the friendly cashier boy, asking us what we wanted. We took a minute because their menu was so large and it was our first time, but the ordering process was super simple. My boyfriend and I paid, grabbed his Mexican Coca-Cola, and seated ourselves. The cashier boy came over and brought two salsa bottles out with a basket of chips, free of charge! Red was very spicy, and I don't say this lightly. I'm half Mexican, okay!! My boyfriend and I both favored the green salsa. He said the chips weren't his favorite, they weren't salty enough for his liking and I found them a bit too thick and rough, but I will forgive that, especially since they were free! The food came out not even 5 chips in! Very quick service, but we also were the only ones in the restaurant. Not very busy for about 8pm on a Saturday. My chicken tacos ($3 each) were delicious, they didn't skimp on the meat, onion, OR cilantro. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and also juicy. It was very hot and fresh. Not spicy. My boyfriends burrito came out shortly after, really good as well. Very hot to the touch and you could tell the meat was just cooked!!TLDR: Great, authentic Mexican food for an affordable price. Free chips & salsa appetizer, quick service and clean tables/establishment overall! DEFINITELY stop by here if you have a taco craving!

SO GOOD!! I was in town for a wedding and ordered a burrito. I can honestly say it was one of the best tasting burritos I've ever had. Definitely stop by if you're in town!

Made a wise stop to get some food, my taco trio was soooo good, if portioned a bit bigger it would be comparable to my fav Tucson's tacos. Horchata was good too, very refreshing and not overly sweet. Service was really good and good chips, salsa rojo pack a punch (a really delicious one).

I have gone here enough times to say their food is authentically delicious! The food portions are just right: no overfilling your plate with food you'll take in a box. They give you chips and salsa when you dine in. Their service is fast and friendly. As someone who lived in Hollister all their life, I am glad this place is doing so well because other restaurants have occupied this space before until they unfortunately closed. I recommend their burritos and alambres, and of course their carne asada tacos. ?Parking: The parking lot is shared with Premiere Cinemas

First time eating at this restaurant. We only ordered tacos but they were good. The green salsa was also tasty. There is plenty of parking. There was a bit of a wait because there were very large to go orders ahead of us.

Must try the avacado chili was so bomb the day i tried this. Great quality al pastor tacos but this is lacking some flavor. Somebody with diabetes cooking healthy no salt. The pineapple should have been sweeter not sour. The nachos were so bomb the beans with the sour cream and chili delicious. People were so nice.
