Incredible food every time! The California Burrito (asada) is my favorite. They are open 24-hours too.
They have the best enchiladas michoacanas!
The tacos hit super good, the asada fries… they don’t hold back on their portions and it’s perfect! Meat isn’t dry, tortillas are soft and they got horchata!!!
Had the quesadilla. Very big portion.
Kinda good , my wife likes it so I kinda like it . It’s ok . I like some of the stuff .
I do NOT recommend the meat Carne asada and Al Pastor ..it was in huge chunks even after we told them to cut it up...we were a little disappointed IT had a lot of nerve and was super chewy because of it. Thanks another Mexican store in Hollister that doesn't serve good meat ...😑
Great Hispanic foods store!!
Great food and store. Good customer service and open late @ night which is nice
Yummy food, good value!
Visited there yesterday to see what all the fuss was about -- it's a joint taqueria to the left of the market.
Taqueria:
The taqueria area is very clean and ready to serve people.
The Market:
It has a wide array of authentic Mexican foods and options, and is neatly organized.
I was initially excited to go buy produce there, but the market was a little dirty, and some of the products seemed out-of-date / maybe expired/old, which detracted from the overall experience. The produce section is fine, though. The smell coming from the meat counter smelled like the meat wasn't very fresh. It seems like not as much attention is put on the market - I was kind of disappointed, because the pictures looked so great. I would recommend this place to clean up to improve their business-- it has so much potential, given that it is next to an eatery! Some of the price tags are also missing on their products - for example, I had to ask a staff member how much their freshly made salsas cost.
There were 2 staff that were very attentive - one could probably tell I wasn't Latino so they tried to orient me and ask if I needed any help, in English.
Then another staff member who came out of nowhere and started posturing about the "best" place / trying to sell me on some stuff, which was annoying at first as a shopper, because I could tell even they didn't really believe in it, but I tried to turn it around to a light and fun conversation, and we had a good exchange - they recommended me their favorite options in the taqueria and other places. I would recommend that they not harass shoppers so much in the future, however. They don't seem very short-staffed.
They seem great at marketing and their unique value - differentiator from other Mexican/Latino-owned markets in town is that they are next to a taqueria -- if they can somehow keep leveraging this, and keep the place clean, clearing out old-outdated-expired products and featuring good, authentic high-vibrational ones, they are bound to have success!

Ordered to go chili verde burrito. The meat was so dry and tough couldn't eat it. Ordered a Carne asda burrito and the meat was dry chewy and very salty almost like they used beef jerky couldn't eat it The shredded beef plate was just ok. Rice had no flavor and beans were runny like water. $50 and majority of food inedible. Never again.
Change the whole look I like there place in Modesto too
37 minutes and counting waiting for a cake
Best burrito I've ever had
Best Mexican food I've had in a while. Got a carnita burrito and 2 asas tacos. With a kids meal cheese quesadilla that came with frys. Also suggest trying their fresh agua fresca drinks. You can tell they are made with real fruits! We had the watermelon (red one) and the melon (orange one) are both delicious. I went on a Monday and burrito was on sale for $6. Green sauce and orange was good to, prices are good. Also open 24hr.
