First time trying this place. Let me tell you all the food is amazing. This is our new spot. Going back to try their Menudo. Salsa was just right. Hidden gem. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Great music playing.

I stopped by here with my parents on the way down from Yosemite to Monterey last year (July 2022). The birria tacos were incredibly delicious, I still think about them till today! I looked them up this year so I could do it again with my brother and sister in law -- sad that they're closed for a bit! Hopefully they will be up and running again soon

This review is from when I went to TJs a few months ago. I went in with high hopes. I ordered (4) quesabirria tacos and (1) beans & rice burrito (only). There were 3 people in front of me, so I figured 10-15 mins...40 mins later, I had to get up and ask about my order. They were barely going to start working on it. Also, I had checked my receipt and they charged me $8 for a plain bean and rice burrito (no cheese, nothing). I felt ripped off, like seriously. With that said, I still went home with a positive mind. Ok maybe the service sucked, but the tacos are worth it. To my disappointment, the quesabirria tacos were not good. I've had my fair share of quesabirria's and these were not tasty. I hate writing bad reviews, but I cant give a place more than a star if both the service and food were bad.

I went there with a group of freinds and the service was FANTASTIC! The waitress referred to us by name ,made sure we had everything we needed and always smiled.I recommend it strongly.Thank you Sonya.GREAT JOB!!!.?

Came back and tried the fried chicken sandwich! *****Was delicious. A little spice but not too much.
I really do not normally write bad reviews. I always feel bad however I want to be honest. We went in and it was hot no AC or fans. Once we ordered and sat down they brought our drinks about 5 minutes after which was fine. The food also did not take very long so that was a plus.The food was not good. All my family agreed that it was not very good. We had to pay extra for sauce and it was not really worth it. The place also was not very nice inside. There was lots of boxes behind a bar counter and the floor was dirty. It was pretty overpriced. In conclusion there are many better places in town.
