Food is decent, place too. Staff prior to covid were attentive and had great customer service. The staff now is friendly but fail to greet if with someone, which isn’t hard to do. The waitress from Dona Ester’s in SJB brings the menus and doesn’t ask about drinks, comes back literally a minute later and wants to take your order and is annoyed or something that you’re not ready to order and wants them to get drinks. After the food comes out, she’ll come and check how things are a minute after getting served then leaves the check and if you’re still there and talking, she’ll start taking items one by one and not excuse herself and ask first. Keep in mind, this is during the week, maybe one or two tables occupied! The food is decent so I won’t let the new wait staff ruin income for the labor staff. Please get some takeout from here to support the staff and community, maybe dining in isn’t a good idea these days with covid.Visited again recently and nothing has changed with the waitress from Dona Ester’s in SJB- she’s getting worse if anything. Friendly staff. Super helpful and passionate about their business.Felt like I was stepping into the past with awesome shakes and a 50s diner feel.Walls are plastered with memorabilia of motorcycles and the like.The guitar player was extremely good as he serenaded us through our lunch.

Went there during my lunch for work as I was working nearby. The waitress amd older lady looked at me in disgust I asked for a menu and instead of just giving me one she gave me attitude and asked what I wanted to order. Ordered a club sandwich and fries. The club sandwich wasn’t cut like you’d expect it to be- not even in half! Fries were packaged with the club and probably stored in the fridge til I arrived- so the fires were cold and shoved been packaged separately wrapped in foil first. Just heard there’s a new cook, maybe they need to replace the new cook?

This place looked so cute, so my friend and I had to try it! It did not disappoint, the interior was beautiful and gave off really cool 50s vibes! The food was good and milkshakes delicious! Overall a great experience! I will definitely be back!

Excellent on every level! It surprises me that more people from Hollister don’t eat here on the regular! Incredible food, perfect atmosphere, and awesome service! Even the strawberry milkshakes are incredible!
