Small space. Quiet. Pretty tea decor. Many favorable teas. It was empty in January, had the whole place to ourselves. I am not sure if the service was lacking because it was empty?
We had an absolute great time. We celeberated our daughter's 17th birthday which was a surprise for her to visit here. She loved every minute. Thank you to your staff for making her visit so memorable.
Very disappointing. The paninis were extremely thin and tasteless. The tea was mediocre. They only had one type of scone available. It was definitely not homemade. There were piled up dirty dishes on the way to the bathroom. The place was near empty. We will not be returning to this tea house.
We went for tea and sandwiches. The tea was fine, the sandwiches were horrible and scones too hard. The bread was stale and nothing was fresh tasting. The tomato soup was only thing ok, we left the rest. This was a huge disappointment and 180 degrees opposite our experience at the Little Tokyo location.
Stuff Nice and friendly, I enjoy everything. Food and tea was amezing my favorite was the cranberry scones.
Friendly & helpful host/server. Even though it was a busy day, she took time patiently to explain the menu & go over the food & teas descriptions we wanted to order. A little pricy Halloween package but fun & creative, & loved the cute little mug that was the "gift" for the Fall/halloween package 🫖🍂👻🎃 A+ overall. The server needs a good raise 🌹🙏🏼🥰 TANX
I was here for a baby shower , unfortunately staff were not organized and sandwiches were not fresh , would not recommend it
The decor and ambiance are so elegant and perfect for photos. The waitress was also very friendly and attentive. However, I find the tea here to be bland. The scones were really dry and hard, I only ate half of it. The sandwiches and desserts all tasted like they were bought from a grocery store, dry and tasteless. We didn't even finished the food we ordered and nobody took the food to go, so you can tell how bad they tasted. The food here is ready disappointing. By the way, you can get validated parking $4 for the first 2 hours, so that was convenient.
We love this cute and affordable teashop!! We come every time we're at Hollywood & Highland and its a peaceful little sanctuary away from the chaos of Hollywood Blvd.
The tea is wonderful and the food is great.
My minor issue is that they never have cream, and cream should be a tea staple.
Hundreds of teas to choose from! Cute space and best part is that you can order a pot of tea to drink with some food for a legitimate afternoon tea session! I’d make a reservation ahead of time just because it can be busy at times. I ordered the Celebration Afternoon Tea and it comes with a good amount of food: soup/salad, scones, sandwiches, and sweets! I was full after so worth the price! I went with the Birthday Tea which was a lovely floral black tea and paired well with the foods. Loved the teapot and all of the fancy plates. Definitely try it out and great to do before a show in the area!

Chado Tea Room was a lovely experience! The tea was delicious, but what really stood out was the service. Alexis was amazing—so knowledgeable and warm. She made the whole tea experience feel special and personal.
Beautiful experience from food, to staff, to the space. Loved every minute and will def be back. Huge thanks to Alexis who was so sweet and knowledgeable and just created a lovely energy for our entire experience. Everyone else was amazing, including Patrick who also acted as photographer! Thanks for making our celebration special.
