Shin impressed us with its fresh ingredients and careful preparation. The ramen noodles were cooked just right. The team was friendly and efficient. A restaurant worth recommending.

Shin’s menu has variety and everything we tried was well executed. The sushi rice and toppings were perfectly balanced. The staff was attentive and polite. A strong choice in LA for Japanese cuisine.

The dining experience at Shin was relaxing and well paced. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared. Drinks like sake paired nicely with the meal. Great place for casual dinner.

The sushi rolls at Shin were flavorful and beautifully plated. The ambiance was casual yet stylish, perfect for a quiet meal out. Our server was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

Service is great but food is bad.
One star because of the bad quality of food, non-authentic Japanese food and exorbitant price tag.
The sashimi (toro, salmon, uni and scallop) quality was worst than conveyor belt sushi / unbrand sushi restaurants or sushi sold in the supermarket, train stations.
Extremely oily tempura. And non-authentic way of preparation.
4 pieces of A5 wagyu at U$49.. (would not even pay $10 for 4 pieces)
Felt cheated on the high star reviews from 800+ people. My guess is that the people that gave high reviews ordered different food items from me or have not tasted above average sushi places before.
Trust me, the quality of the fish here is so bad and not even labeled as below average.
The only saving grace is their Gyoza.
Please do something in the quality of the fish, food, and method of preparation before charging your customers so much. I rather eat fast food..

We went on Christmas day and I think they were understaffed. The waitress forgot our miso soup. We were full with other foods so didn't remind her.
Would have loved to share a photo of my delicious pork belly ramen but I finished it too quickly. Amazing local spot, good food, and plenty of parking.

Very comfortable Japanese restaurant with a small parking lot. Plenty of seating, friendly staff, clean bathrooms and the food is very good. There is a small happy hour menu. But the menu has plenty of options and nice pictures to help if you are not sure. Good music and there are a few tvs around the place with music videos or sports playing. When you arrive and sat, you receive a hot towel, a very nice touch. When you are done, you touch the cube on the table signaling staff that you are done.

There was fairly loud music playing at the restaurant as well as the TV is going which is not the environment I like for dinner. Some of the waitresses on their way out to take a break we're playing a electronic game they had near the cash register and were screaming with joy repeatedly which was pretty disruptive. On the other hand the service is incredibly attentive and the food is top-notch. I would go back. One more thing they had the AC on too high and it was freezing in the restaurant. Still the food is out outstanding there.
An unexpected surprise! Located in a mini- mall, the restaurant's food was surprisingly good.
