This place is under new ownership. The new owners cook some delicious food! I've tried the birria Supreme nachos, the wet burrito, and the rib plate, and they all have been delicious! It's worth stopping here.

Based on the online reviews, we stopped by Mariscos La Palmita on a recent visit to the marina area in Cabo San Lucas. I must say, the online reviews were on point. From start to finish, a 5-star experience! The complimentary chips and salsa were very good, the chips from the bag on the counter were fresh and light, the salsa was super fresh and had a nice heat. We decided to try the bartender's "Cadillac Margaritas," and were not disappointed. Perfectly balanced, not to sweet, and plenty of bang for the buck! We order the ceviche clams appetizer... the monster plate of clams were crazy fresh; in fact, so fresh, that when we squeezed the fresh lime on the clams they went crazy and danced on the plate ... delicious! For entrees we chose the pescado veracrusano and the garlic lobster, both were amazing. The fish dish was huge, a classic veracruzano sauce on seabass, that also included ample pieces of fresh octopus and shrimp. The garlic lobster included a handful of lobsters, expertly prepared and grilled with a fantastic garlic-butter sauce. The staff was awesome, Aurelio and Ernesto took great care of us. We were the lone touristas in the restaurant while we were there, and the constant flow of locals confirmed we had found a great spot. Higehly recommend Mariscos La Palmita when you're in Cabo... off the beaten path, but worth every step you take getting there.

My wife and I visited this restaurant on our first day in Los Cabos. I did some research and found that the local people like this place and that its prices are reasonable. We ordered lobster, shrimp cocktail, and their unique fish, "Cabeño." We were not disappointed. Each dish was fresh and made from scratch. The waiter was a bit distracted by the women's tournament soccer match on TV but was very attentive and funny. I would love to live here and try each of their menu items.

Visited this local favorite neighborhood restaurant twice since the food was SO good & affordable! Both times we had shrimp cerviche & once we had it with shrimp quesadilla & once we had it with fish cerviche…$25USD for fresh amazing seafood & 2 sodas/waters, although there is a small bar available. Wait staff is older (no English) but it’s easy to point at what you want; ESPN baseball on both visits!

We had the fried red snapper and coconut shrimp. Both were very good and good portions as well. Great food, value, and service.

Lots of fresh seafood to choose from at reasonable prices. Lobster tail was a bit on the chewy side. Big portion that could be shared. We bought way to many dishes that we were not able to finish. We were disappointed with our margaritas. Large cups but mostly big ice cubes. When we took out the ice only a little bit of watered down margarita was left. They did bring us a shot of tequila to slit between 3 of us. Not what we were looking for but they tried. I would not order that drink again there. I would go back for the seafood. Restaurant is clean and staff is very friendly. Took a star off for the unsatisfactory drink.

Delicious! portions, great service. We had the garlic shrimp and garlic fish fillet and we both couldn’t finish our meals. Prices were good too

We walked 20 minutes in the very hot sun to try this place to arrive and it was permanently closed. Such a bummer. We were really looking forward to it.

We looked on Tripadvisor before our cruise and this place kept popping up. We took a bike taxi from the port as we weren't sure where this was. It was also 90 degrees with 100% humidity. Thanks to Angel for taking us there and coming back to pick us up. The restaurant had mainly locals. The food was amazing. We had 7 fresh baja oysters, fried snapper and shrimp and lobster plate. All the seafood was so fresh and tasty. Their magarita was also very good and very big. It is worth venturing away from the port for this great restaurant.

Order 2 Asada burritos togo tonight. Possibly the worst burrito I have EVER had. Not only was it tiny for the price we paid, there was no onions or cilantro. Absolutely no sauce or flavor. We asked to have cheese added, but it also didn’t include cheese. Definitely will NOT be going back.

Clean, friendly and good food. On the weekends their Posole & muedo are a must. We try to get there as often as possible. Good choice if your in the area.

It was 105 degrees and I was in a hurry driving down Santa Fe so I decided to grab a cold drink here as the location was very convenient. I got up to the window and was met by a very friendly cashier. I ordered a cup of ice with water and had my bill of cash in hand to pay. He handed me a cold bottle of water and told me to enjoy it and not worry about it. I told him I was more than willing to pay for it but he told me to not worry: it was on the house. I was very impressed that there's good people in this world and a small gesture like this speaks volumes to the good people here and in this town. I will make sure I support this great establishment. Thank you.

Had dinner here twice this week. This is 2 blocks off the main strip and has both locals and tourists. 8 tables, and only one server, Aurelio. Closed Tues. No wine list, and only glasses of house wine, beer, and margaritas. Seafood is as fresh as if you were on the boat. Filet of sea bass pan sauteed was possibly the freshest I ever had. Raw bar chocolate clams were so fresh that after being cut up and served on half shell, they still quivered when I sprinkled lime juice. Raw bar oysters were so fresh they tasted like only sea water. They can prepare seafood many styles including grilled, saute, and also VeraCruz (tomatoes and olives). Peel and eat shrimp (boiled) also superbly fresh. Total price for dinner for 2 with 3 drinks and tip was $65 USD. This is not "fine dining", but if you want incredibly fresh seafood at a very reasonable price served in a local style, I give this place 5 stars. For vegetables, menu has only green salad, and for meat, only steak. No A/C, generally appeared clean. Will definitely go back repeatedly.

If I could give this place a lower score I would. Food had no taste and pricing depends on the customer. I will tell everyone I know not to eat here.

We visited this restaurant twice during our trip to Cabo. The first time we were craving shrimp and this place came up in searches for shrimp restaurants. It didn’t disappoint us. CASH ONLY though, but everything was so reasonably priced- reminded me of the unspoiled Cabo of 30 years ago. Shrimp plates were about $10 each and appetizers were about $4-$6 each. Beers were about $2 each. The waitstaff were friendly and we enjoyed the tequila shots. Our order was imperial shrimp, garlic shrimp and coconut shrimp and we ranked them in that order too, although everything was delicious. For appetizers we had fish ceviche and guacamole. Both were great.
