Came for the AYCE prime rib dinners. Nothing fancy, good quality. Inside can be loud, so if you're sensitive, try outside seating if available. Service was scattered, the server barely came around, and others were more helpful. If you're coming for the food, great, service leaves a lot to be desired from some servers.
I took my gf here and wouldn't do it again.
The service was horrible they had us waiting I had to call the waiter on top of that they gave us the wrong drinks
Great vibe to the place. Food is good, service cld be much better waitresses seem to be more worried about their appearance and chatting than good service, although our 1st visit our waitress Zoe was great the next two visits I was slightly disappointed in the service of our waitress. But I'm old school and I think we tip based on service more so than looks. Overall I recommend for a great atmosphere and good pub like food, especially the nachos which will easily feed 2-3 people at a good price. They have a special every weeknight and the AYCE Prime Rib on Monday for $20 is a great deal.
Loved being away from the crowded street with our dogs.
The patio was comfortable and quiet.
The French toast was delicious but not warm when served.
Best place to be at in downtown hb
Food was good. You are able to take ur pets inside while u eat. We had the all u can eat fish n chips.
Just one block from the Huntington Beach Pier, there’s a hidden gem of a bar + restaurant upstairs called 2nd Floor Gallery Bar & Grill. The place has an artsy vibe and, even better, weekday Happy Hour specials that would make your wallet and belly happy.
Here’s the lowdown on their weekday deals (as of March 2025 when I visited and plz double-check their website before you go):
• Mon: $20 All-You-Can-Eat AYCE Prime Ribs
• Tue: $15 All-You-Can-Eat Taco
• Wed: BOGO Burgers
• Thu: $15 All-You-Can-Eat Pasta
• Fri: $20 All-You-Can-Eat Fish & Chips
My husband and I were wandering Huntington Beach on a Monday afternoon and happened to stumble across this $20 Ayce Prime Ribs deal and decided to give it a try.
You can take the stairs on the right or the elevator on the left to get to the second floor. We got there at 4:05pm (they start the specials at 4pm), and there was already a line. The place filled up fast, but since we didn’t mind sitting at the bar, the server brought us right over.
Server came by to take drink orders first and asked if we were here for the Monday rib special. My husband was all in, but I don’t eat beef so I tried to order the pizza. However, the staff responded “Sorry, we’re swamped with ribs today, you gotta pick something else.” Fair. So I ended up going with the Fish & Chips plate.
So how were the $20 unlimited ribs? Honestly, we went in with low expectations, but my husband said the quality was pretty fair for the price and note If you’re after premium steakhouse-level meat, this isn’t it. Props to the servers too, they were super generous. As soon as my husband was almost done with Round 1, they offered him more. He went three rounds total, and the portions were huge. Best part? You can take the leftovers to-go. Big win.
My Fish & Chips plate was $24 which is more expensive than the AYCE ribs. (Note: Friday they offer the same fish & chips deal for $20 unlimited.) Taste-wise, it was average. Honestly, I preferred the ones I had at Alaskan Fish & Chips (cheaper and better flavor). Also I got a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary for $9. Not bad for beachside pricing.
No time limit on the AYCE, and they’ve got balcony seating plus occasional live music in the evenings. Chill vibe, solid service (Jamie was super attentive) . I would say it was a fun hangout spot for anyone who loves bar food and buffet-style deals.

This place is awesome the food rocks the deals are great the waitresses and wait staff are awesome as well !
I've been sitting here for over 15 minutes and nobody has taken my order or acknowledged me, and yet people who have come in after me have gotten seated and gotten their food. Edit: I let the hosts who seated me know she's a redhead with a nose piercing, who looks like Sophie Turner, who claimed that she would let my server know again that I was waiting for her and after 10 minutes, I was still being ignored, so I walked out. I suppose my business is not important nor wanted.
I tried my best to avoid this but long overdue. Let's start with their Thursday all u can eat pasta special for 15 usd. Except it doesn't come with meat at that price. If you want protein, it's an extra 5 to 7 bucks per plate! Olive Garden has their unlimited pasta for the same price with the option of paying a One-time fee of 5 usd for unlimited protein regardless of how many plates. Here, your first plate with protein will be a total of 20 usd. A 2nd plate with protein is an additional 5 and it stacks up from there. So, I had a total of 3 plates all with chicken breast and it was a 30 usd total charge. I tip fairly well which is another 10 usd for a grand total of 40 usd for 3 plates of pasta. NOT worth it. The shrimp topping will be a 7 usd charge but I suspected it was frozen so never bothered. The beef is a scam which was hamburger helper! Ground taco meat as topping which was also a 5 usd charge. Came here a few times afterwards for their other specials which is Tuesday night all u can eat tacos. Not bad for 15 usd but I always get ignored. Last time, took forever to receive my 1st plate of tacos and establishment wasn't even packed with any traffic. Very disturbing to eat there completely ticked off from being ignored. The wait time for anyone to stop by your table to take order is unbearable. Doesn't matter if it's taco Tuesday or pasta Thursday. I unfortunately always get the same waitress who rarely bothers to check up on you. You can hear her chatting away at other tables because her voice is very distinctive. I had to get up and go get her myself for more servings and the check. Same thing happened tonight as well. Got seated and ignored for 15 minutes straight. Had to flag down multiple employees to as they walked past me without the slightest care. I begged for service and inquired what's going on with me being ignored. Pretty much got brushed off each time and was about to walk out until the same waitress from last time finally came to take my order. Must I always be forced to sit there like some chump each visit before I can get acknowledged? Is it because I'm a minority or what? Sat for like another 5 minutes watching all others eating and most coming back from the taco bar filled with food on their plates. Finally, after what seemed like a whopping 20 minutes from entry, I get six small tortillas for the self-serve taco bar. And sure enough, taco bar completely depleted of almost everything and some bowls were completely empty. Thanks! Wasted my time as usual which is consistent EVERY visit and now, I have the wonderful opportunity to dine on leftovers yaaay! I tossed the plate of tacos on some random table and just walked out. Should've taken some photos to show how ridiculous that taco bar looked. Why would you finally bring out some tacos for me when all the ingredients at the bar are nearly empty? Insult after insult so no thanks. Place is loud and obnoxious anyways. Lights are barely there so you're eating in the dark most of the time. Oh, avoid the all u can eat fish and chips on Fridays. Frozen fish that's soggy and appears snot like. They already had some pre fried and just sitting there. When you fall for this scam, they'll refry it again to make it seem fresh and hot. Hard as a rock and inedible. Collectively, nearly all visits had issues so finally had to get this off my chest. Been there almost once a week for the past month and nobody cares who you are. Never a "Hi. Oh, welcome back! Or great to see you again." Ya'll like to ignore people, right? Fine. Try ignoring this review while you're at it.

Staff is so rude for literally no reason as soon as you walk in. my first experience was horrible waited over one hour just for appetizers yet people who went in after got there food in like 15 mins or less . Decided to give it a second try and the girl was just rude. How can people have that attitude and work on customer service.. WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND ANYONE.
Great sound system

Worst experience of my life. These workers need much better training on how to speak to people !!! Completely ruined my experience and I recommend no one comes here! The host was extremely rude and unprofessional (blonde, bigger one) and after confronting her about her actions she proceeded to explain that she is always this confrontational and loud and rude. We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday and it was completely ruined. Do better .
