Tried this place out this past weekend, and it was fantastic! Haven't had Mexican food this good since living in San Diego. When we went on a Saturday at lunch time, my wife and I thought it was closed, there was only one other couple there. We will definitely be back!

The food was amazing! Even though they were understaffed and it took a little longer to get our food, everything was great. The Calimari was crunchy, light and tender, and all of our main course dinners came out perfect. We will definitely be back again.

Came here with my girlfriend for Valentine's Day. The place is nice. Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was great and would definitely recommend for anyone who looking to try something new and won't be disappointed. I will definitely consider coming back

$$$$$$$, very loud, a party place, fun if you want to spend money. Drinks are good but again not cheap.

So much potential but fell short on so many levels. We came on a Saturday around noon. We were part of a large party. The restaurant was notified days before that we be coming from a memorial. Overall there was at least 45 people , most coming at different times. So they said the patio was our best option. Our party was the first to arrive. It was evident from the beginning that they were understaffed. We began ordering drinks, appetizers and chips. The drinks took a long time to reach our table. The chips were good as well as the salsa and bean dip. One of our waitresses told us that it was her first day! And she was the one that was most attentive. We finally ordered our food which all came out at different times and most of it was cold. I had the trio of tacos and all were really cold. The guacamole was tasty. I know it's tough times for restaurants but this was embarrassing to a former restaurant owner. Maybe adjust your menu to less items so your cooks can manage to deliver hot food.

Complete scam do not go here. Food is all frozen and my steak literally came out cold

The food was really good but overpriced. Grilled romaine salad and seafood enchilada trio were delicious. service was good but not great. Especially for a large restaurant with only 4 occupied tables. Good margaritas but not worth the $22 with Casamigos upgrade price tag per drink. The place is beautiful. Seems like they want to compete with Javier's but that's not going to happen in a Walmart shopping center.

Good atmosphere! Extensive list of tequilas. Margaritas are good! We had tacos, and they were very good and fresh. The guacamole sampler is good for table sharing.

Unfortunately, we have been twice and the food is mediocre. We really wanted to like it but it's just not that good. We had to send back one order. The seafood enchiladas were not good, carnitas were tasty. Guacamole was so so. They did not have enough weight staff. The poor waiter was very busy, we came in early so that may have been a mistake. But for the price I don't think we'll be back.

Went with a couple girlfriends last night for Happy Hour. It's a really pretty restaurant. The food and drinks were tasty. Unfortunately, every time I turned around to ask for something, nobody was around. Seemed like they spent a lot of time in the back. That being said, I will definitely give this place another try. Everyone has an off night.

Best Mexican food I've had lately in OC! Amazing service, great ambiance, & delicious food! The highlight of our meal was the bottomless chips & salsa. Will definitely be back! - Bottomless chips & salsa 5/5 - Fresh guacamole (made to order) 5/5 - Chicken Enchiladas 5/5 - Seafood Enchilada trio 4.5/5

This was our first visit to Agave Seasons! We had a 5:30 reservation. It was not very crowded when we arrived on a Friday evening. The service was good although at the time, our waiter was doubling as the bartender so we had trouble getting his attention to order. Other than that the service was great. What my wife and I most liked about the restaurant was the food! She got the Carnitas soft taco and chicken Molé enchilada and I got the Cazuela Al Pastor and both were excellent, especially the Molé! The only two things I would bring up is that they make you pay five dollars for chips and salsa, but the chips come with refried beans and salsa, and they will refill the chips and salsa for you. Also, a large draft beer (24oz) was $16 which seemed a little high. Other than that it was a great experience and by the time we left, the restaurant was filling up. We will definitely come here again!

Food is spectacular there! Very fresh, delightfully tasty and absolutely love the presentation of the entrees. Very well put togetherFriday I had the octopus and came back on Tuesday and had the Salmon Taridito. The seats at the bar are very comfortable and roomy, which is a plus! Service from the bartenders were great. They were attentive and friendly. Happy hour drink specials are really good with white or red $6 a glass.
