Mediocre quality food for the price. There are a lot of better AYCE with same price or cheaper. The service is okay.

Always great! Love the sashimi option with ayce sushi and appetizers. Service is attentive

We really enjoyed our lunch on Sunday. We opted to skip the AYCE and just order ala carte. This allowed us to try the different offerings without much commitment as the typical roll is 4 pieces. The prices were good and the food was great. We will actually go back when hungry to try the AYCE option as it seems like a very good deal! The service was a little slow but good and the ambiance was fun. There was upbeat music playing and TV's. The funny part was the lights turning off and music playing for a couple birthdays! We will be back!

AYCE Sushi HB was an interesting experience, they offer all you can eat sashimi with their AYCE option for an additional $5. While the sashimi was not the best quality I've tried in OC, it was a good bang for your buck. I came with a party of 7 and the service was pretty fast for the amount of food we ordered. They had a deal going where they offered free AYCE for the 5th person if you have at least 4 people in your group. The highlight for me was definitely the ramen station they had where you can make your own ramen with toppings. I also liked how they had good rice to fish ratio on their nigiri. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to eat an obscene amount of sashimi for $50.

Service was very attentive! Probably the best thing about the experience. We really wanted to enjoy this place as we saw a post on IG raving about it. Left there scared we would end up with food poisoning later. Halibut texture was like chewing a steak, had to spit it out. Albacore was literally translucent with hard edges. Oysters had a weird flavor and smell, had to be sent back. They never brought the shrimp tempura, though it looked good at the other tables. The salmon and bluefin tuna were completely opposite, being fresh and flavorful. Bummed we didn't get the experience that others posted about. Needless to say we tried and it's a one and done choice.

Food was good for an ayce place. Nothing too special but decent. Service: no complaint. Ambiance: 8/10 Eating too much fish always makes me feel like I never want to go back to the place but after a few days, I am sure I would want it badly again.

The Sushi is always amazing here. I haven't been there in a while since they stop doing the all you can eat oysters but I'm glad they brought it back. Highly recommend everybody to try this place. The service is so awesome, the servers are pretty quick on taking the orders and bring out bringing out the food. They also have this deal where if you buy two rounds of sake, you get the third sake for free! The vibe of the ambience is awesome. They play Korean music videos and occasionally sing happy birthday to customers celebrating their birthdays. It's pretty cool, and thanks for the experience, and I will be returning.

Always tasty and a good value. The service was prompt and there was a good variety of options if you wanted Udon or sushi

Best sashimi all you can eat place. Manager/owner was very friendly. Tight seating when it's busy but they allow reservations.

Im on the search for the best sushi and sashimi place in the LA/OC/626 area. I was hopeful for this place because the pieces of sashimi looked delicious in the pictures and the reviews said they were fresh. The pieces of sashimi were fresh (especially the salmon) . It came served on a boat with a side of fresh wasabi. The cuts were inconsistent as our first round came out with thick cuts, and the subsequent round were thinner. (which i personally enjoyed more! ) The wasabi was good but doesnt have a strong kick. The rice to fish ratio for nigiri was great! More fish . Less rice! We also ordered rolls, agedashi tofu, and mussels but they werent particularly special. The tofu pieces came out cold and was lacking the flavorful broth its normally served with. The mussel were small, room temp and lacking in freshness. Service was severely lacking and slow. We took into consideration what other yelpers wrote in their reviews and ordered mid way through our round. This was perfect timing for the second round. However, when we ordered a bowl of udon and tempura for our third round, we found ourselves waiting for a very long time and eventually had to cancel our order. They were getting busy and the kitchen was getting backed up with orders. I would definitely recommend ordering in advance but still expect a wait, which is terrible since there is a time limit (90 minutes) Additionally, there were times when the server would pop around the corner and hand us a plate in a rush rather than place it down on the table. We would have gladly assisted in making room on the table. We saw other tables order green tea ice cream so we were excited to end our meal with that. We asked the server for green tea ice cream but were served sherbet instead of ice cream. With no explanation, the server placed it on our table and walked away. If we were told beforehand that they ran out, we would have kindly declined ice cream and saved them time, effort and food. The restroom is just as nasty and musty as everyone mentioned. Lighting is poor, and overall can use a deep cleaning. Although the sashimi/nigiri quality was amazing, the rest of the menu was nothing special and service can be improved.

I'm a returning customer and decided to count how many pieces I could eat in one meal. 69 pieces! Nice. Love how little rice they give in the nigiri so you can eat more fish. Salmon just simply melts in your mouth and all others are usually pretty good too. The rolls and baked rolls are pretty good too. For the regular ayce option, you can get 1 oyster per person and they never disappoint. There is now a new DIY ramen bar that adds variety to your meal if you please. Love this place! The guy that seems like the owner is always very friendly.

We went on a weekend so a little bit busy, the wait is around 20-30 minutes. There's no yelp waitlist but you can sign your name in the waitlist paper inside the restaurant. We tried the AYCE sushi + sashimi, with tax it is around $50 per person. The shrimp tempura is crunchy and good, I love their squid nigiri and sashimi ( salmon, bluefin tuna ). Their sashimi is really fresh! The nigiri also have a small rice ratio that I really like. However, the service is average, I think cause it is busy so the server doesn't ask to refill our water or ask how are we doing, forgot we order hot water as well. Also, avoid the calamari as it tasted old and hard to chew. The miso soup is very watery and bland. The baked mussel is also disappointing as it is so small compared to other AYCE sushi restaurant. It is a little bit noisy because there's a lot of people, they play a song when there's a birthday going on which is fun. They give you green tea ice cream when you asked for a check, but the ice cream is very average, tasted too sweet and artificial. Overall, will come back for the sashimi and nigiri. But for a cheaper price and higher quality service I would recommend Tomikawa at Irvine.

We have eaten here many times through the years. Seen many changes. I have never opted for the all you can eat but have to say, even with all the changes the food has remained consistently good and the prices are reasonable. Most resent the quality of fish is really good and the service very nice. We have been more frequent this last year. The only thing constructive I can say is, I wish they would slice the sashimi a bit thinner. I appreciate the value of quality fish and the amount given. I think if they were to give the same amount of ounces more thinly sliced, more patrons would enjoy it better and better see the value. The ambiance has remained the same. The service has improved lately and I enjoy the new changes in the hot green tea.

Food 5/5 Service 3.5/5 Ambiance/Interior 3/5 The food at Ayce is good and the Nigiris are better then so many all you can eat places they have a nice variety and offer quality fresh fish. Over the years the price point of Ayce has changed but so have several other factors - as community members flock to the closest and most popular all you can eat spot the service at this location has dwindled it's difficult to catch servers attention and the wait may be long or you may be served slowly. The food always comes out one after another but you may be waiting in between Rounds. My recommendation is you place your order halfway through your previous round. As per interior for the amount your paying your figure Ayce would up their interior game just a bit, since covid random papers and postage's have been posted around the store and just random promotions posted everywhere. The space can be quite crammed, the bathroom situation is quite musty and of course it's always quite busy. Nonetheless your here for food and the nigiri and sushi here is good at its price point there's only a few other places in the area that do it equally well or better.

The price point for AYCE sashimi is perfect, all the sushi was delish, and we got so many items. Ramen bar was a nice touch, kids enjoyed it. Service was friendly, fast & very accommodating for our large group. Will definitely go back.
