What a disappointing dining experience: food was less than mediocre, tasted like it had previously been frozen, bread not fresh, server rude with an attitude ~ who needs that? Overpriced, under-whelming and not welcoming ~ we won’t be back and do not recommend to anyone. We were looking forward to an enjoyable meal in a relaxing environment and were considering having a re-union dinner here with 25 - 30 guests … who also like good wines ... which definitely will not happen now. We are military ~ serve this great nation with pride, value patriotic ideals but sadly, this establishment is far below expectations. It also shows disrespect waving our flag in such tattered condition.

First time dining at this restaurant with my family and it was even better than what I expected! The service was excellent, the food was amazing and the prices were reasonable. Above all, what drove us to eat here was what it stands for their American patriotism.Coming from a military family, they had flags of military branches. The portions and authenticity of the food ,fugeet about it...Will be back soon

Fraudulent use of credit card details. The restaurant took it upon themselves to charge me higher than what I signed for and gave themselves a higher tip amount.

This place left a bad taste in my mouth.

As a Brooklyn Native and a fine dining chef of over 15 years, this is the most legit review of Basilico. My first visit was in 2007 and this place has never failed to satisfy. There are plenty of aspiring Italian restaurants in OC but this place is the real deal. The mussels are amazing the red sauce is better than my own mothers. Everything is always fresh and prepared with care. The Cannoli desert is absolutely amazing! If you are considering a meal here, you wont regret it!

My family took me here fir my birthday and it didn't disappoint. Everything was wonderful, owner/manager even checked on us to make sure everything was good and asked if we came for anything special and when he found out it was my bday they brought us a delicious cannoli. Not best pictures but portions are generous and flavor is excellent. Alfredo with sausage, Seafood risotto and Cioppino pictured. Yummy, definitely plan to return.

My husband and I came on a weeknight. It was fairly busy inside with a couple people enduring the cold on the patio. I had the chicken Parmesan and loved it. My husband had lasagna. You have to wait about 20 minutes for lasagna, but it is really good and really rich. Drinks and bread were also great. Service was wonderful.

The cutest little Italian restaurant. The food was excellent, some of the best Italian in my life (try the shrimp Parmesan ?). The service was amazing and just the whole experience was top notch. This is a new must eat for every SoCal trip now.
